In February 2026 it closed a USD $52.5M Series A led by DST Global, the largest Series A to date in the Iberian healthtech and AI ecosystem.
Pedro Coelho is the founder and CEO of Biorce, a Barcelona-based health AI company building software that designs and manages clinical trials in minutes instead of months. A Portuguese entrepreneur with over eight years in life sciences consulting, he started Biorce after a clinical trial bought his father, who was dying of melanoma, ten extra months of life. In February 2026 the company closed a $52M Series A led by DST Global, the largest Series A in Iberian healthtech and AI, backed by angels including the CEOs of Mistral, Revolut, OutSystems and Seedtag.
Julio Martinez is the co-founder and CEO of Abacum, an AI-native financial planning and analysis (FP&A) platform he launched with Jorge Lluch during the first week of Spain's COVID-19 lockdown in April 2020. A former M&A lawyer turned Citigroup banker turned fintech venture builder, he built the product he wished he had had during two decades inside finance. Abacum has raised more than $100 million from investors including Atomico, Creandum, Scale Venture Partners, Cathay Innovation and Y Combinator, and now serves hundreds of mid-market companies across more than 30 countries from offices in New York, London and Barcelona.

Víctor Pérez is the co-founder and CEO of Krea.ai, a San Francisco-based generative AI platform that has raised $83 million and grown to 20 million users. A Barcelona native who studied audiovisual systems engineering at UPF, Perez received the prestigious laCaixa Fellowship (a scholarship from the King of Spain) to pursue graduate studies at Cornell University — but spent just one day on campus before convincing his co-founder Diego Rodriguez to drop out and build Krea instead. Anna Piñol Mediano is a Partner at NFX, a $450M seed-stage venture capital firm, where she leads investments in AI, marketplaces, fintech, and consumer companies across the U.S., Europe, and Latin America.
