These terms apply to yespress.io and services provided by Source Platforms Ltd, trading as YesPress. By using the service or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you act for a company, you must have authority to do so.
Our service
YesPress runs company newsrooms and publishes stories and profiles about companies, people, and products. We combine editorial oversight with technology to turn information and research into published coverage.
Your selected plan or written order sets out the services, publishing cadence, price, and any agreed delivery commitments. We do not guarantee third-party media coverage, search rankings, traffic, sales, or AI mentions and citations.
Accounts and handles
Provide accurate account information and keep access to your account secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
You may claim a handle only for a person, company, or product you are authorised to represent. A free handle reservation does not itself publish a page or guarantee coverage. We may reclaim misleading, inactive, reserved, or infringing handles, with reasonable notice where practical.
Plans, payments, and cancellation
Current services and prices are on our pricing page. The billing period, currency, applicable taxes, trial conditions, and any specific cancellation or refund terms must be disclosed before you order. Any separately agreed written order takes priority where it conflicts with these general terms.
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on the recurring schedule you select. Annual plans are charged annually. Starting a free trial does not itself authorise a payment; any move to a paid plan must follow the terms presented when you sign up.
You may cancel at any time by emailing press@yespress.io. Cancellation stops renewal at the end of your current paid billing period. Your agreed service continues until then. We do not provide refunds for unused portions of a billing period except where required by law. After the paid period ends, new editorial work stops, while existing published newsroom stories remain online, subject to correction, legal requirements, and these terms.
Nothing here removes any statutory cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights. We will notify you before changes to your subscription price or material service terms take effect, giving you a reasonable opportunity to cancel before they apply.
Your materials and published stories
You keep ownership of materials you supply. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to edit, reproduce, publish, and distribute them as needed to provide your YesPress service and maintain its published archive. This does not transfer ownership of your brand or materials.
Only submit information you are entitled to share. It must be accurate to the best of your knowledge and must not infringe privacy, intellectual property, or other rights, or contain unlawful or defamatory material. A nomination does not authorise you to act for the nominee.
You may link to, share, and reuse the YesPress stories produced for your company for your business purposes, subject to any identified third-party rights. We retain rights in our platform, templates, design, and editorial work except where a written agreement says otherwise.
Editorial standards and corrections
We retain editorial judgement and may decline material or make changes for accuracy, clarity, legality, or safety. A paid plan purchases the agreed service, not a right to misleading claims or guaranteed favourable coverage. We remain responsible for our agreed contractual obligations.
Coverage may draw on submitted material and public sources. We make reasonable checks, but information can change or contain errors. Send corrections or concerns, with the relevant page link and supporting details, to press@yespress.io. We review requests and may correct, update, or remove content as appropriate.
Acceptable use
Do not impersonate others, submit misleading or unlawful content, infringe rights, harass people, disrupt the service, bypass access controls, or attempt unauthorised access.
Do not bulk-copy, republish, or commercially exploit our content without permission. Ordinary linking, permitted search indexing, and uses allowed by law are not prohibited.
Privacy and third parties
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including submitted materials and information about people featured in our coverage.
Browse pages may display third-party advertisements, including Google AdSense. Paid featured pages are ad-free. Advertising does not imply our endorsement. Third-party websites, products, and services have their own terms and privacy practices.
Availability and suspension
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance, technical faults, or events outside our reasonable control may affect availability.
We may suspend an account or remove content where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, non-payment, security risk, or legal requirement. Where practical, we will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. Suspension does not remove rights to remedies or refunds required by law or your agreement.
Responsibility and liability
We will provide paid services with reasonable care and skill. General website content is for information and is not professional advice.
For business customers, subject to the exceptions below and applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or business opportunities. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless a written agreement states otherwise.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, the business exclusions and cap above do not apply, and your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and the date above. Material changes affecting an existing paid service will be notified in advance and will not retrospectively change accrued rights. Where a change requires your agreement by law, we will obtain it.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Business disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to use their local courts that apply by law.
