Sergio Aguirre
Sergio Aguirre is the founder and CEO of EchoPixel, a Silicon Valley medical imaging company that turns standard CT, MRI and ultrasound scans into interactive 3D holograms doctors can grab, rotate and dissect in open space. An electrical engineer from Tecnologico de Monterrey with a graduate focus on stereoscopic imaging, he spent more than 15 years in visualization systems before founding EchoPixel in 2012. His True3D platform earned FDA clearance and has been used in congenital heart defect detection and structural heart procedures, built on his conviction that doctors should not have to solve a 3D problem with a 2D picture.
Jan Witowski
Jan Witowski is the co-founder and CEO of Ataraxis AI, a New York precision-medicine company building AI models that read cancer tissue to predict how a patient's disease will behave and which treatments will help. A physician-scientist with an MD and PhD, he spent a decade in medical imaging research at Harvard, Massachusetts General Hospital, and NYU Langone before spinning Ataraxis out of NYU in 2023. The company's first product, Ataraxis Breast, is billed as the first AI-native prognostic and predictive test for breast cancer, and it raised a $20.4 million Series A in 2025 led by AIX Ventures.
Gene Dolgoff
Gene Dolgoff is the founder, CEO, CTO, and Chairman of Holobeam Technologies, a Long Island biotech building holographic tools to detect and treat cancer. He has been making holograms since 1964, holds over 65 patents worldwide, built the world's first LCD projector, and consulted with Gene Roddenberry on the concept that became the Star Trek Holodeck. Today his company is developing Holographic Energy Teleportation (HET), advanced nanoparticles, and a new class of MRI imaging - aiming, in his words, to teleport energy through the body to kill cancer cells.
Amin Nikoozadeh
Amin Nikoozadeh is the founder and CEO of Vave Health, a San Jose company building affordable, wireless handheld ultrasound. A Stanford-trained electrical engineer who spent years shrinking an entire imaging system onto the tip of a 3mm catheter, he started Vave in 2015 after confronting a stark fact: roughly two-thirds of the world's population has no access to medical imaging. The company's pocket-sized probe earned FDA 510(k) clearance in 2019 and now powers millions of scans across hospitals, medical schools, and underserved clinics.
David Stoffel
David Stoffel is the Chief Business Officer of RapidAI, the clinical-AI company whose stroke-imaging algorithms helped rewrite the rules of how strokes get treated. A medical doctor who chose boardrooms over bedsides, he has spent more than two decades turning ambitious medical technologies into standards of care - from the da Vinci surgical robot at Intuitive Surgical to mobile cardiac telemetry at iRhythm and point-of-care EEG at Ceribell. At RapidAI he runs the commercial engine: marketing, clinical affairs, education, customer success, corporate development, and finance.

Mark Punyanitya is a New York biomedical engineer turned founder who spent more than fifteen years measuring the human body one MRI slice at a time, then set out to make that kind of imaging cheap and portable enough to put in the back of a truck. As Co-Founder, President and CEO of PhenoMx, Inc. and founder of the Image Reading Center, he turns advanced scanning into quantitative imaging biomarkers for global clinical trials and a 'digital physical exam' for precision medicine and longevity. With 44-plus published papers behind him, he is trying to liberate medical imaging from the basements of academic hospitals and disperse it anywhere, anytime.
Nate Mazonson
Nate Mazonson is the co-founder and CEO of Alara Imaging (Alara Gateway), a San Francisco health-tech startup building a secure gateway-as-a-service that moves radiology data between hospitals and the cloud in real time. A Dartmouth-trained environmental engineer turned Stanford MBA, he spent five years in venture capital at Cambridge Associates and Kleiner Perkins before co-founding the vertical-farming company Plenty in 2015 and then Alara in 2019. His through-line: take antiquated, high-stakes infrastructure - first food, now medical imaging - and rebuild it as modern, machine-learning-ready software.
Shiva Suri
Shiva Suri is the founder and CEO of New Lantern, a San Francisco startup building an AI-native radiology platform that aims to automate roughly 90% of imaging workflows - dictation, report drafting, measurements, and worklist navigation. A University of Pennsylvania computer engineer and former Confluent software engineer, he started the company in 2021 after watching his radiologist mother burn most of her day on clerical busywork instead of reading scans. In November 2024 New Lantern raised a $19M Series A led by Benchmark's Eric Vishria, part of $22.6M total raised.
Connie Lehman
Connie Lehman is a radiologist who spent three decades reading mammograms and decided the picture could tell a different story. As founder and CEO of Boston-based Clairity, she built the first FDA-authorized AI platform that reads a routine screening mammogram and estimates a woman's five-year risk of developing breast cancer, spotting tissue patterns invisible to the human eye. A Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School with more than 300 peer-reviewed publications, she left a celebrated academic career to commercialize the idea that imaging should predict cancer, not just find it. TIME named her to its 2026 TIME100 Health list and Forbes to its 50 Over 50: Innovation list.
Mohamed Shoura
Mohamed Shoura is the founder and CEO of PaxeraHealth, a Boston-based medical imaging AI company he launched in 2009 after spending 12 years inside Siemens and Toshiba Medical Systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Medical Imaging, has served as an adjunct professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and pursued a business degree at Harvard. Under his leadership PaxeraHealth has reached more than 2,500 PACS installations across 50+ countries, won Best in KLAS for Global PACS three years running, and closed a Series A round in late 2022. He also founded CarePassport, an award-winning patient engagement platform.
Andrew Lacy
Andrew Lacy is the Founder and CEO of Prenuvo, the company making proactive whole-body MRI scanning a mainstream healthcare tool. A Melbourne-born, Stanford-trained entrepreneur, he previously co-founded Tapulous - the mobile gaming company behind Tap Tap Revenge, acquired by Disney in 2010 - before pivoting to healthcare. Doktor Gurson is the Co-founder and CEO of Rad AI, the leading generative AI platform for radiology, powering over 50% of U.S. health systems. A serial entrepreneur and Y Combinator alum, he started his first internet company at age 15 - a domain registrar that became the world's 32nd ICANN-accredited registrar. Julián Ríos Cantú
Julián Ríos Cantú is the co-founder and CEO of Eden, the leading cloud-native radiology operating system in Latin America. Motivated by his mother's battle with breast cancer, he began building health technology at age 16, went on to become the youngest-ever winner of the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards at 18, earned a Thiel Fellowship, and went through Y Combinator in 2018.
