Matthew Carey
Matthew Carey is the co-founder and CEO of Teradar, a Boston deep-tech company building a solid-state automotive sensor that sees in the terahertz band of the electromagnetic spectrum, the sliver between microwaves and infrared. Nikos Andrikogiannopoulos
Nikos Andrikogiannopoulos is the founder and CEO of Metrika, a Cambridge, Massachusetts SaaS company that measures the reliability of blockchains the way a control tower watches air traffic. A Greek-born MIT engineer who spent a decade in telecom strategy consulting, he built Metrika to answer a plain question institutions kept asking about crypto rails: how do you know it is working, and how do you prove it. He served on the U.S. CFTC's Technology Advisory Committee and helped author its landmark 2024 DeFi report, and his platform now underpins risk work with names like S&P Global Ratings, Zodia Custody, Hedera, Algorand and Solana.
Rashmi Melgiri
Rashmi 'Rush' Melgiri is the co-founder and CEO of Functional Finance, a San Francisco insurtech building the financial operations platform that automates billing, premium collection, reconciliation, and money movement for insurance operators. An MIT-trained economist, she previously co-founded and ran operations at CoverWallet, the commercial insurance startup acquired by Aon in 2020. She started Functional Finance in 2021 after living the pain of chasing money across email chains inside the insurance back office, and has since raised $36M, including a $20M Series A led by Walkabout Ventures, while growing premium payment volume more than 2,500% year over year.
Ricky Ashenfelter
Ricky Ashenfelter is the co-founder and CEO of Spoiler Alert, a Boston-based B2B software company that helps major food and CPG brands sell, discount, and donate excess and short-dated inventory before it becomes waste. He co-founded the company in 2015 with Emily Malina while earning his MBA at MIT Sloan, building on earlier work in sustainability consulting at Deloitte and the U.S. EPA. Adrian Cabrera de Luis is the co-founder and CEO of Maestro Labs, the company behind MailMaestro, TeamsMaestro and CalMaestro - a suite of AI assistants that draft, summarize and triage email and meetings inside Outlook and Gmail. A Swiss-trained microengineer turned BCG consultant turned MIT Sloan MBA, he built and sold the Facebook-community rental startup Alpaca before turning to email. David Kim
David Kim is the co-founder and CEO of Monterra, a San Francisco software company that helps EV charging contractors and developers design, quote, and propose charging projects in minutes instead of days. Before Monterra, he spent years working with utilities and energy companies designing EV charging programs, deploying smart grid infrastructure, and planning energy efficiency initiatives, with earlier stops at The Cadmus Group, Boston Consulting Group, and Accenture, plus a graduate degree from MIT Sloan. He co-founded Monterra in 2022 with Kelson Reiss and raised a $2.5M pre-seed led by Base10 Partners in November 2023 to speed the buildout of EV charging infrastructure with software and AI.
Neil Cohen
Neil Cohen is a Manhattan-trained investment banker who co-founded American Rock Salt Company, the largest-producing salt mine in the United States, after the historic Retsof mine collapsed and flooded in the 1990s. As Founder, Co-CEO and Vice Chairman, he helped assemble the financing for the first successful new U.S. salt mine in over four decades, in Mount Morris, New York. In parallel he runs Emerald Development Managers LP, an early-stage venture capital firm he founded in 1994, backing science-heavy startups in diagnostics, digital pathology, nanotechnology and fuel cells. His career spans the deeply physical (20,000 tons of rock salt a day, mined 1,200 feet underground) and the deeply speculative (frontier-tech venture bets).

Rachel Munsie is the CEO and co-founder of Ounce of Care (Ounce), a tech-enabled resident services platform that connects people living in affordable housing to public benefits, health and social care coordination, and community programming. A former Goldman Sachs banker and private equity investor who left MIT Sloan to help build home-health startup Tomorrow Health, she launched Ounce to close the gap between where people live and the care they can actually reach. Vatsal Bhardwaj is the founder and CEO of Jabali.ai, a Los Altos startup building a no-code, generative-AI game engine that lets anyone create and publish video games from text prompts. A 20-year product and engineering executive, he helped build the Oculus App Store at Meta (which generated $1.5B+ in cumulative revenue), led AWS Game Tech, ran Studios at Storm8, and served as Chief Product Officer at Skillz. In 2024 Jabali raised a $5M seed round led by BITKRAFT Ventures with Sapphire Ventures and Sony Innovation Fund.
Devin Lammers
Devin Lammers is the CEO of TerraClear, the Issaquah, Washington agtech company building AI and robotics to pull rocks out of farm fields - and, increasingly, to scout entire fields for weeds, crop health, and more. He took the helm in August 2024 after seven years at Farmers Business Network, where he founded FBN Financial and Gradable and served as CRO/COO and interim CEO across a network of 50,000-plus members. A multi-generational South Dakota farm-and-ranch kid with a Dartmouth degree and an MIT Sloan MBA, he frames agtech as 'the intersection of technology meeting the physical world' and is steering TerraClear from a single hated chore toward a full-field autonomous intelligence platform.
Diego Villegas
Diego Villegas is the co-founder and CEO of Slang, an MIT-born edtech startup that uses machine learning and NLP to teach industry-specific professional English to the global workforce. A serial entrepreneur, he first built MASA, a Colombian oil-and-gas technical-services firm that grew to roughly $200M in revenue and 5,000+ employees before its acquisition by Stork. The pain of watching capable employees stall - and get laid off - for lack of business English became the seed of Slang, which now offers 150+ career-focused courses to companies including Nestle, Banco Santander, and Hyatt across more than a dozen countries.
Francisco Aguilar
Francisco Aguilar is the founder and CEO of Bounce Imaging, the company behind a softball-sized, throwable 360-degree camera that lets police, firefighters and soldiers see inside dangerous spaces before stepping into them. He conceived the idea as a graduate student at MIT and Harvard after watching rescuers struggle to find survivors in the rubble of the 2010 Haiti earthquake. The original Explorer earned a spot on TIME's Best Inventions of 2012; the thermal-equipped Pit Viper 360 repeated the honor in 2024. Jonah Lopin
Jonah Lopin is the co-founder and CEO of Crayon, a Boston-based market and competitive intelligence software company he started in 2015 with John Osborne. Before Crayon, he was HubSpot's sixth employee, running Customer Success from zero through the company's 2014 IPO. Will O'Brien is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and the CEO and co-founder of NFT Oasis, the metaverse platform owned and operated by Provenonce, Inc. A blockchain and gaming veteran, he co-founded and led Bitcoin security pioneer BitGo (later acquired by Galaxy Digital for $1.2B) and was named Bitcoin industry 'CEO of the Year' in 2014. Andres Santos is the co-founder and CEO of Comun, a Spanish-first digital bank built for Latino immigrants in the United States. A Mexican-born MIT Sloan MBA who once struggled to open a US bank account himself, Santos turned that friction into a fast-growing neobank that accepts more than 100 Latin American IDs, requires no Social Security Number, and sends remittances across Latin America. After a $4.5M seed round in late 2023, Comun raised a $21.5M Series A led by Redpoint Ventures in August 2024 - just months later - on the back of 52% month-over-month customer growth.
