Who Is Logan A.
The Quiet Architect of Oracle's Extended Universe
There is a category of business that powers everything while appearing in no headline. The category is enterprise resource planning - the software that tells a hospital how many nurses it has, tells a manufacturer what's in the warehouse, and tells a university whether a student can graduate. Logan A. has made a career operating at the exact center of this invisible infrastructure.
As Chief Executive Officer of Smart ERP Solutions, Logan leads a California-based consultancy that has spent two decades becoming the trusted name Oracle customers call when they need someone who genuinely understands PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, or the increasingly complex path into Oracle Cloud. The company occupies a niche that sounds narrow until you look at the client list: government agencies, health systems, higher education institutions, consumer goods companies, manufacturers, and financial services firms spread across more than 300 engagements worldwide.
"Provide innovative, configurable, flexible, cost-effective services and solutions for common business problems, enabling clients to save time, increase productivity, minimize costs, and maximize return on investment."
Smart ERP Solutions Mission Statement
The company was founded in 2005 by veterans of Oracle and PeopleSoft - people who helped build the software before they decided to build a better way to sell it to customers. That founding DNA runs through everything Smart ERP does: deep product knowledge, preference for practical outcomes over theoretical architectures, and a particular patience for the messy reality of enterprise technology migrations that never go quite as the vendor's sales deck suggests.
Under Logan's leadership, the firm has grown to serve more than 300 clients with a team exceeding 250 professionals, generating $36.8 million in annual revenue. More telling than the revenue figure is the retention rate: the company operates on a "100% retention and references" philosophy, meaning clients don't just stay - they vouch. In enterprise software, where multi-year contracts are the norm and switching costs are brutal, that kind of retention is either marketing copy or an operational miracle. At Smart ERP Solutions, it appears to be the latter.

The Oracle Ecosystem - and What It Takes to Navigate It
Oracle's product portfolio is famously expansive and famously complicated. PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud HCM, Oracle Cloud ERP, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - each with its own upgrade cycles, integration requirements, and institutional knowledge demands. Smart ERP Solutions has built its practice around all of them, which is rarer than it sounds.
Most ERP consultancies pick a lane. Smart ERP Solutions picked several, then built a delivery model capable of serving clients wherever they are on the Oracle journey - whether that means maintaining a legacy PeopleSoft deployment on-premise, planning a lift-and-shift migration to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or deploying AI-driven process automation on top of an existing ERP stack.
The company's proprietary Smart Solutions portfolio includes applications for employee onboarding, student onboarding, Form I-9 automation, E-Verify integration, supplier diversity reporting, and electronic personnel action requests. These are not generic tools. They were built to solve specific, recurring problems that Oracle's core product doesn't handle neatly - and they're the kind of add-ons that sticky clients into multi-year relationships.
Industry Recognition
Oracle PeopleSoft Innovation Partner Badge - Three Years Running
Since Oracle introduced the PeopleSoft Innovation Partner Badge in 2023, Smart ERP Solutions has received it every single year - including in 2025 for work with University of Florida Health and Roush Enterprises. Only a handful of partners receive this recognition each year. Smart ERP Solutions is one of very few with three.

The Mythics Acquisition - A New Chapter
In April 2025, Mythics LLC - an award-winning Oracle systems integrator backed by One Equity Partners - acquired Smart ERP Solutions. For Logan and the company's leadership, the deal represented something specific: access to a much larger delivery network and the ability to compete for enterprise contracts that require global scale.
Mythics CEO Paul Seifert framed the acquisition in terms of scalability and expanded service delivery: "Together our joined forces will offer scalability, and an expanded set of services delivered with excellence." Smart ERP's offshore delivery capabilities were a particular attraction - the ability to offer clients 24/7 global support without requiring round-the-clock domestic staffing.
It was Mythics' second acquisition in six months, following the purchase of the Technology Resale Business of Three Wire Systems in September 2024. The combined entity now covers Oracle Cloud services across commercial, higher education, healthcare, and government sectors with a meaningfully broader reach than either company had independently.
The acquisition by Mythics gives Smart ERP Solutions clients access to expanded service offerings, enhanced technical capabilities, and the combined expertise of two Oracle-focused industry leaders.
Smart ERP Solutions - Company Announcement, April 2025
The timing is notable. April 2025 is precisely when organizations are deepening their investment in Oracle Cloud as the PeopleSoft and JD Edwards sunset conversations accelerate. A company that specializes in Oracle migrations - that knows exactly what breaks during a lift-and-shift and exactly how to fix it - is more valuable now than it was five years ago.
Industries That Depend On This Work
Smart ERP Solutions serves a deliberately wide cross-section of industries. This isn't dilettantism; it's deliberate. Oracle ERP is industry-agnostic infrastructure, and the company's ability to deploy the same managed services model across healthcare billing systems, university HR platforms, government procurement tools, and manufacturing supply chains is precisely what makes it a durable business.
The University of Florida Health and Roush Enterprises - two of the 2025 Oracle PeopleSoft Innovation Badge clients - illustrate the range. One is a major academic health system navigating the intersection of complex HR requirements and healthcare compliance. The other is an automotive manufacturing and motorsport services company with demanding supply chain and ERP performance requirements. Smart ERP Solutions earned the same recognition badge serving both.
