Deeto wants your happiest customers to do the talking

The company began by making customer references easier to arrange. Now it is betting that the same voices can help sales, marketing and product teams make better decisions.

A satisfied customer is an oddly underemployed person. They know what the product does, what installation felt like, and which promise survived contact with Monday morning. Yet when a prospective buyer needs reassurance, that knowledge can be remarkably difficult to borrow. Someone must find the customer, make the request, arrange the conversation and hope the same generous person has not already been asked three times this week.

Deeto builds software around that awkward interval between having happy customers and being able to hear them. Its proposition is practical: collect their experiences, preserve the context, and make the useful parts available to people trying to sell, market, improve or support a product.

The story in 30 seconds
  • AI interviews and questionnaires capture customer experiences.
  • Stories, references and account context live in a searchable library.
  • Proof reaches buyers through CRM workflows, microsites and website widgets.
  • A January 2026 expansion brings product and customer success into the brief.

The first bottleneck was the ask

In a 2023 interview published by investor UpWest, CEO Eran Baron described a problem the founders had seen inside large enterprises. Customer contact revolved around requests: join a webinar, resolve a problem, renew a contract. The relationship produced obligations more reliably than understanding.

Baron, Golan Raz and Yossi Gelman interviewed hundreds of sales and marketing leaders, according to that account. They built a basic proof of concept and worked with US design partners. Feedback informed the product and its interface. The test was whether prospective customers would pay, rather than merely applaud. Polite enthusiasm is a dangerously inexpensive currency.

The initial audience was sales leaders. As Deeto added customer content collection, marketing became a buyer too. That widening matters: one customer conversation might help a seller answer an objection and help a marketer explain a use case. Selling the software to one department need not confine the evidence to that department.

Four verbs, one customer record

On January 20, 2026, Deeto announced a broader platform direction it calls customer orchestration. The phrase has the usual software-industry fondness for a large noun. Its substance is easier to understand through four verbs: Listen, Learn, Analyze, Activate.

  2. 02LearnKeep its context
  3. 03AnalyzeFind the pattern
  4. 04ActivatePut it to work
One conversation, several destinations. An editorial schematic of Deeto’s operating model.

Listen gathers experiences through AI interviews and structured engagement. Learn puts customer material into a shared record. Analyze looks for patterns and sentiment. Activate moves the resulting intelligence into business workflows. The company’s ambition is a continuing loop, with product and customer success using the same customer context as marketing and sales.

The AI Interview Agent supplies a useful detail. Instead of following a fixed questionnaire, it can adapt its questions to an answer and pursue a promising thread. Deeto says LinkedIn profile information helps personalize the conversation. Structured questionnaires remain an option when comparable answers matter more than narrative depth.

The Knowledge Hub sorts material into Assets, People and Companies. That distinction answers three different questions: what evidence exists, who can discuss it, and which accounts it represents. Searching for a finance leader’s first-year results is a more useful instruction than simply searching for praise.

The paperwork gets a seating chart. Deeto’s Prospect Hub example tracks buyers from invitation toward a reference conversation.

For a seller, the output might be a private microsite containing relevant proof for one opportunity. For marketing, it might be a public library or a website widget. The Prospect Hub tracks reference activity; the Referral Hub manages referral programs. Deeto advertises integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot and Slack, placing evidence nearer the tools where teams already work.

Four times the advocates. What does that prove?

The customer list includes Atlassian, Dropbox, Klaviyo, Bloomreach and 6sense. A more instructive example comes from ParentSquare. A Deeto-hosted webinar featuring its advocacy program reports a fourfold increase in advocates over 90 days and a 30 percent reduction in manual effort.

Those figures describe participation and workload. They do not establish how much additional revenue Deeto caused. That distinction becomes especially interesting beside an April 2026 G2 review. A customer advocacy manager praised booking reference calls from Salesforce Opportunity records and collecting reusable stories, but criticized the reporting available to justify business impact.

“I find their analytics extremely lacking.”

The review illustrates two jobs that buyers may confuse: making a reference program easier to run, and proving its contribution to revenue. An excellent answer to the first does not automatically settle the second.

Deeto sells subscriptions with custom pricing. G2 lists Starter, Growth and Enterprise editions, with different administrator and sales-user allowances. An enterprise allowance reaches 500 sales representatives. The contract price requires a quote. On the financing side, a $12.5 million Series A led by Jump Capital in July 2025 brought company-reported total funding to approximately $17 million.

Ask at the right moment

Deeto occupies a crowded intersection of customer advocacy, reference management and sales enablement. UserEvidence competes around customer evidence; Influitive emphasizes advocacy communities; ReferenceEdge keeps reference operations inside Salesforce. Deeto’s distinguishing pitch is the connection between voice collection, customer context and activation across several teams. Buyers still need to test that connection against their own workflow.

Some of its most copyable ideas require no software purchase. Its activation guide recommends asking around a renewal while the decision is fresh, but allowing roughly 30 days after implementation before seeking a richer success story. A customer still troubleshooting installation has a different story from one who has experienced the benefit.

Its Knowledge Hub guidance also recommends organizing proof for recurring needs, checking freshness and tracking participation to avoid exhausting willing advocates. These are operating habits. Weak account data, missing approval or an overused reference pool can defeat the automation. Human review still matters when AI turns customer statements into drafts.

The sensible lesson is to make a customer’s experience easier to retrieve without making it less theirs. Deeto can shorten the route from a lived result to a buyer’s question. The result itself must come from the customer. Even the tidiest filing cabinet cannot manufacture a good Monday morning.
