Harrison.ai is a Sydney-based clinical AI company founded in 2018 by brothers Dr Aengus Tran and Dimitry Tran. It builds artificial-intelligence software that helps clinicians read medical images faster and more accurately - flagging urgent findings on chest X-rays and brain and chest CT scans, and streamlining pathology review. Its diagnostic products, radiology brand annalise.ai and pathology joint venture franklin.ai, are used at more than 1,000 healthcare sites across four continents, with regulatory clearance in 40-plus countries. The company positions itself as a builder of foundation models for medicine, releasing harrison.rad.1, a radiology-specific multimodal large language model. Harrison.ai raised a US$112 million Series C in February 2025 to fund a US expansion, taking total capital raised past US$240 million.
Voio
Voio is a Berkeley-based frontier AI lab building a unified reading platform for radiology. Spun out of UC Berkeley and UCSF, it develops the open-source Pillar family of models that interpret CT, MRI and X-ray scans across hundreds of conditions, aiming to help radiologists work faster without trading away accuracy. The company exited stealth in November 2025 with $8.6M in seed funding.
Bunkerhill Health
Bunkerhill Health is a San Francisco AI company building the 'system of action' for hospitals. Its Carebricks platform lets health systems create, share, and deploy AI agents that turn routine data - especially CT scans already sitting in the archive - into actionable clinical findings. Born out of Stanford's Center for AI in Medicine and Imaging, the company has racked up a string of first-in-class FDA clearances for opportunistic detection of cardiovascular and bone disease, and in 2026 secured a national CMS reimbursement pathway for AI cardiovascular analysis.
Adam Yala
Adam Yala is a UC Berkeley and UCSF assistant professor of Computational Precision Health turned founder, now CEO of Voio, a Berkeley AI startup building frontier radiology models. At MIT he created Mirai and Sybil, open-source AI tools that flag breast and lung cancer risk years early and are now studied at more than 90 hospitals across 30 countries. In late 2025 Voio emerged from stealth with $8.6M in seed funding and Pillar-0, billed as the most accurate open AI model for radiology, with a mission to make being a radiologist more empowering rather than to replace the profession.
Clairity, Inc.
Clairity is a Boston-based healthtech company that built Clairity Breast, the first FDA-authorized AI platform that predicts a woman's five-year risk of breast cancer directly from a routine screening mammogram. Founded by Harvard radiologist Dr. Connie Lehman, the company turns images already sitting in the medical record into a forward-looking risk score, aiming to move breast care from late-stage detection toward early, equitable prevention.
Doktor Gurson
Doktor Gurson is the Co-founder and CEO of Rad AI, the leading generative AI platform for radiology, powering over 50% of U.S. health systems. A serial entrepreneur and Y Combinator alum, he started his first internet company at age 15 - a domain registrar that became the world's 32nd ICANN-accredited registrar. At Rad AI, which he co-founded in 2018 with radiologist Jeff Chang, he has built a $525M company that automates radiology report generation, reducing radiologist burnout while improving diagnostic accuracy across more than 200 hospitals and health systems.

Ken Kaufman is the CEO of Sirona Medical, a San Francisco-based cloud-native radiology platform backed by $118M in funding. A radiology IT veteran with decades of experience at IDX Systems, McKesson, and Allscripts, he co-founded PureWellness — a population health platform that grew to 15 million users and was acquired by Cerner in 2013. Now at Sirona, he is driving the company's mission to rearchitect radiology software with AI at its core, helping radiologists read faster, practice everywhere, and generate reports with unprecedented efficiency.

Viz.ai is an AI-powered care coordination platform trusted by over 2,000 hospitals across the United States. The company's suite of 50+ FDA-cleared algorithms analyzes medical imaging data in real time - detecting strokes, brain hemorrhages, aneurysms, pulmonary embolisms, and cardiac conditions - then instantly alerts the right clinical team so treatment can begin minutes faster. Founded in 2016 by neurosurgeon Dr. Chris Mansi and machine learning researcher Dr. David Golan, Viz.ai has grown into a platform covering 230 million lives, supporting 70,000+ healthcare providers, and partnering with 14+ leading pharmaceutical companies to accelerate drug development and patient access.
Nishith Khandwala
Nishith Khandwala (Nish) is the co-founder and CEO of Bunkerhill Health, a San Francisco-based AI company building the operating system for clinical action inside health systems. A Stanford computer scientist who started in AI labs with no healthcare background, he pivoted after physicians walked in with real clinical problems - and after his own father's heart attack forced him to ask why his coronary calcium AI wasn't reaching patients. Bunkerhill's Carebricks platform now powers 7+ clinical domains at major health systems including UTMB, HCA Florida, MedStar, and WVU Medicine. Chris Mansi
Chris Mansi is a Cambridge and UCL-trained neurosurgeon turned AI entrepreneur, and the Co-founder and CEO of Viz.ai - the company that puts an AI brain between a CT scanner and a surgeon so that patients who are about to die of a stroke stop dying from delays. Named to TIME100 AI in 2024, Mansi built Viz.ai from a Stanford dorm-room insight into a platform covering nearly 2,000 U.S. hospitals and 230 million lives, reducing stroke diagnostic timelines by more than an hour - one patient at a time, every ten seconds.
