Hatch
Hatch is a Menlo Park sleep-technology company that designs bedside devices and a companion content subscription to help people fall asleep and wake up better. Founded in 2014 by former BabyCenter executives Ann Crady Weiss and Dave Weiss, it started with connected products for babies and toddlers (Hatch Rest) before expanding to adults with the Hatch Restore line of sunrise alarm clocks and sound machines. The company pairs hardware with the Hatch Sleep app and the paid Hatch+ library of sleep sounds, sleep stories, meditations and light-based wind-down routines, reaching more than half a million families.
Wesper
Wesper is a New York-based sleep-health company that has built a wireless, wearable patch and cloud platform for clinical-grade, at-home sleep apnea testing. Founded in 2017 (originally as Tatch) by Dr. Amir Reuveny and Adi Mordechai, Wesper combines flexible printed electronics, machine learning, and a provider portal to replace the wires and single-night snapshots of traditional sleep labs with comfortable, repeatable, longitudinal testing. The FDA-cleared Wesper Lab lets patients test at home while giving physicians high-resolution data that correlates closely with in-lab polysomnography.
Meredith Perry
Meredith Perry is the co-founder and CEO of Elemind, a neurotech company building a wearable headband that reads your brainwaves in real time and nudges them with bursts of sound, marketed as sleep on demand. Before Elemind she was the inventor behind uBeam, the ultrasonic wireless-charging venture she dreamed up as a University of Pennsylvania undergrad and grew into a roughly $40 million, much-debated startup backed by Founders Fund, Andreessen Horowitz, Mark Cuban and Marissa Mayer. A trained paleobiologist and astrobiologist who once did research with NASA, Perry holds dozens of patents and now wants to build what she calls an app store for the brain.

Rajiv Mahadevan is the co-founder and CEO of Attune Neurosciences, a San Francisco neurotechnology company building what it calls the world's first wearable, non-invasive ultrasound system for deep brain therapy. A UC Berkeley molecular biologist turned Stanford MBA, he spent two decades inside biotech and precision-medicine companies - 23andMe, Novo Nordisk, and his own venture Applied Immunology, which was acquired by Precision Medicine Group - before turning his attention to the skull. Attune's headband-shaped device aims low-intensity focused ultrasound at deep brain structures with MRI-guided precision, and it is backed by venture investors, the NIH, and the U.S. Special Operations Command.
