Sirish Chandra Kolli: A company grows one conversation at a time

From ProXforce’s first 20 people to Conscendo’s next chapter in AI, Sirish Chandra Kolli keeps returning to the work of building a team - and giving it something useful to build.

On the first anniversary of his company, Sirish Chandra Kolli allowed himself a small breach of corporate etiquette: he admitted the year had been difficult. ProXforce had encountered challenges. It had learned lessons. The anniversary message had the customary thanks and ambitions, but it also contained something considerably more interesting than a birthday cake: numbers.

The team had grown from 20 people to 60. One partner had become eight active partners. There had been more than 30 Salesforce implementations, with a presence across three continents. These were Kolli’s own figures, shared as the business marked a year since its incorporation on 24 March 2021. They describe a busy beginning, with enough moving parts to keep the celebrations brief.

That business is now Conscendo, where Kolli is co-founder and chief executive. Its story offers a useful way into his: follow the people, the conversations and the work they are expected to deliver. The vocabulary changes with the technology. The recurring questions concern how a team learns, how it collaborates and what happens once a system leaves the presentation screen.

Before the company had its current name

Kolli’s education connects Hyderabad and New York. He was part of the 2002-06 Information Technology batch at VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology. He also studied at The City College of New York from 2006 to 2008. The sequence places his studies on both sides of the Atlantic before the company’s founding in 2021.

There is a pleasing return in the university’s alumni listing: someone who once studied in the IT department now appears there as the CEO of a technology business. It gives the company title a longer perspective. Before there was an organization to lead, there were years spent learning the subject around which that organization would eventually be built.

The ProXforce name belongs to the opening chapter. Kolli used it in his first anniversary account and in later Salesforce community posts; corporate records identify Proxforce Software Private Limited as Conscendo Technologies’ former name. Aswani Sunkara is the other co-founder, currently identified by Conscendo as its chief technology officer. The partnership is a continuing thread through the change of name.

An invitation with several exclamation marks

In September 2023, Kolli announced a trip through several US cities, beginning in San Francisco for Dreamforce. His message was an invitation to fellow Salesforce enthusiasts: if they were nearby, he wanted to talk. He offered a chat about Salesforce, an exchange of insights and a chance to collaborate. The greeting arrived with three exclamation marks. Reserve was evidently not on the itinerary.

“Let’s connect to collaborate!!” he wrote. The punctuation belongs to him. It is a compact expression of the trip’s stated purpose: use the journey to meet people who work in the same ecosystem. A conference supplies a destination; an open invitation gives the days around it a different kind of usefulness.

That distinction matters in a consulting career. The finished work may take the form of software, but the starting point is often a conversation about what someone needs. Kolli’s invitation makes room for that ordinary beginning. There is no elaborate stagecraft in it, just a travelling executive asking who might have time to meet.

The welcome note before the hands-on demo

On 25 April 2026, a Salesforce Developer Group Hyderabad event put Kolli on the agenda for a welcome note alongside Sunkara and delivery leader Suresh Kumar Puttagunta. Conscendo sponsored the gathering at its Hyderabad office. The programme moved into DataWeave in Apex and Revenue Cloud, with demonstrations, questions, networking, a quiz and lunch.

The details make this a particularly useful scene in his professional story. This was an event organized around things developers could examine and try. Parsing and transformation challenges sat beside practical demonstrations. The welcome note opened the room; other members of the team supplied the technical sessions. Leadership appeared within a programme of shared expertise.

A closing selfie also made the agenda. Even a morning devoted to data models requires evidence that everyone enjoyed themselves. The combination of technical instruction and sociability is familiar across Kolli’s public activity: create an occasion for people to exchange knowledge, then leave room for them to know one another.

Permission to start again

One account from inside Conscendo gives this emphasis a more concrete shape. Team member Harshitha Ponnapalli described work on SASHA and SIID, including setbacks, changes of approach and occasions when the team restarted from scratch. She thanked Kolli, Sunkara and Kiran Konda for giving the group space to experiment, fail, learn and build.

The account accompanies her discussion of an AI hackathon using SIID, described as a Salesforce IDE with AI capabilities. It is her experience of the work, rather than a claim that every project follows the same pattern. Its value lies in the specifics: something was attempted, difficulties arrived, approaches changed, and the team continued.

For a chief executive, that is an interesting form of recognition. The compliment concerns permission. A restart can look thoroughly inconvenient on a schedule, yet this employee remembered the room to make one. In a business discussing AI tools, the human arrangement around experimentation deserves a place in the picture too.

Useful work has a life after launch

Conscendo’s stated purpose is to turn roadmaps into reality. It describes its founding rule as getting Salesforce used, and its delivery approach moves through assessment, acceleration, building and ongoing management. For Kolli, this is the operating context of the company he leads: architecture, delivery and continued use all sit within the same promise.

The company now describes itself as a Salesforce Summit Partner, with offices in Westborough, Dubai and Hyderabad. Its stated direction brings people and AI agents into a shared working system. Those are company positions, and they give his current role a specific setting: a Salesforce consultancy extending its work into agent-based business processes.

His introduction to the first edition of MuleSoft Edge, published on 8 December 2025, adds another piece. Kolli described integration as foundational to digital transformation and presented the newsletter as a way to share practical knowledge. Connecting applications, data and devices is the subject; sharing insights with the people doing that work is the chosen format.

A new colleague, a wider ambition

On 11 August 2026, Kolli welcomed Pavan Murthy as Conscendo’s chief revenue officer. He described five years of building engineering capability, Salesforce expertise and enterprise delivery, followed by a sharper focus on Agentic AI, Agentforce and Data Cloud. His account set the appointment within a further phase of expansion.

Murthy’s accompanying introduction pointed to the team’s experience across several kinds of enterprise work, including revenue systems, education and loyalty. Kolli emphasized the experience and relationships his new colleague would bring. The announcement reads as a founder making space for another senior voice at the table, with a remit to help take the business further.

The important ambition here is specific enough to examine: carry existing delivery experience into the next set of Salesforce and AI engagements. An appointment alone cannot supply the result. It does show where Kolli is putting attention, and which additional kind of leadership he believes belongs in the next chapter.

There is room for baseball

A Conscendo update from Toronto offers a lighter glimpse of that leadership relationship. The company mentioned Red Sox versus Blue Jays debates between Kolli and Murthy, alongside Boston-versus-Toronto exchanges. Murthy’s account described a gathering with Salesforce ecosystem colleagues, food, laughter and discussions that ranged from Revenue Cloud and Slack to agentic implementations.

The photograph shows a long restaurant table and a group gathered around it. No podium, no ribbon, no ceremonial button awaiting a nervous finger. It is a useful companion to the earlier Dreamforce invitation: people in the same business spending time together, with conversation allowed to travel beyond the product catalogue.

Baseball supplies the harmless disagreement. The account does not require turning Kolli into a sporting biographer’s subject; it simply allows the executive to be someone who joins a debate over dinner. A company’s calendar contains meetings. Occasionally, one of them also contains a decent argument about whose city has the better claim.

The next person through the door

Kolli’s involvement also extends to doEvents, which publicly lists him as an investor. The event operations platform describes his contribution as strategic guidance on growth, market expansion, customer success and scalability. It adds an investment role to the consulting business, while keeping the work close to the practical problems of running an organization.

There is a personal note in his public messages as well. In a Father’s Day post, he wrote about the guidance and values people carry from home into work, and celebrated the fathers and father figures behind those lessons. It is a statement of appreciation, without the grand autobiography that such occasions sometimes tempt executives to deliver.

In a Conscendo leadership video with Sunkara, the discussion returns to colleagues learning, contributing and growing with the business. Read alongside the first anniversary numbers, it gives the story a continuing question. What can the next person who joins become able to do? Kolli began with a team of 20. The next chapter will be written by the people who come through the door.
