The comparison site on the front. The application engine on the back. The fintech that made Malaysia's banks its customers.
Jirnexu is a Kuala Lumpur fintech built around a simple, stubborn question: which financial product should you actually choose? Its answer is RinggitPlus, Malaysia's largest online platform for comparing and applying for credit cards, personal loans, home loans, insurance and savings products.
Behind the consumer-facing site sits the part that turned Jirnexu from a website into a company banks depend on. In 2016 it launched XpressApply, an online application and CRM system that lets financial institutions accept, process and manage product applications digitally - collapsing paperwork that once took thirty minutes into a few taps on a phone.
That pairing defines the business. On one side, consumers get a transparent place to shop for money. On the other, banks and insurers get the technology to acquire and onboard those consumers online. Jirnexu describes itself as Southeast Asia's first full-stack fintech provider for customer acquisition and management - and it has spent more than a decade following the customer's real problem rather than the pitch deck.
The founders call it "the accidental fintech firm." It never set out to build financial infrastructure. It set out to help people choose, and the infrastructure was what the market kept asking for next.
"Comparing a loan or an insurance plan should feel as ordinary as booking a flight."
Malaysia's biggest financial comparison site - credit cards, personal and home loans, insurance and savings, all compared and applied for in one place.
Application and CRM technology that lets banks and insurers run complex product applications and onboarding fully online, cutting abandonment.
The comparison-and-lead-generation model extended into Indonesia, taking Jirnexu's playbook to a second market.
Acquired from MoneyHero Group - the rival Malaysian comparison brand, folded into Jirnexu to consolidate the market.
Malaysians and Indonesians trying to pick the right card, loan or policy without wading through fine print or branch queues. RinggitPlus makes the choice transparent and the application quick.
Financial institutions that need to reach digital customers and onboard them without paper forms. Jirnexu supplies the acquisition channel and the application technology.
People don't hate financial products - they hate the paperwork and the guesswork. Jirnexu removes both, and earns its keep by turning intent into completed applications.

Jirnexu sits at the intersection of three businesses - a consumer media platform, a data company, and B2B software - which is exactly why global investors from Japan's SBI to the UK/US credit bureau Experian backed it. The chart below sketches how its identity has shifted over time (illustrative, not to scale).
Competitors & alternatives: MoneyHero Group (SingSaver, MoneyHero), iMoney, and other financial marketplaces and digital-onboarding vendors across Southeast Asia. In 2024 Jirnexu absorbed one of them - CompareHero.
