The company has captured more than five million trades and raised a Series B round led by Sundance Growth in July 2025.
AGent Energy
AGent Energy (branded AiGent) is a Houston-based energy-tech company that uses AI software and secure hardware to aggregate, orchestrate, and monetize idle backup generators at commercial, industrial, and mission-critical sites. By connecting these behind-the-meter assets to wholesale power markets during peak demand and grid emergencies, AGent turns standby liabilities into dispatchable, revenue-generating distributed power plants - improving grid reliability without building new infrastructure. The company is targeting a roughly 185 GW fleet of existing backup generation across the U.S.

Unblock builds and operates mobile, modular data centers that plug directly into wasted energy - gas that would otherwise be flared at oil wells, methane venting off landfills, and renewable power that gets curtailed for lack of grid capacity. By converting that stranded energy into computing power on-site, the company turns an environmental liability into revenue for energy producers while cutting emissions. Founded in 2021 and led by CEO Tomas Ocampo, Unblock has scaled to roughly 15 MW of deployed capacity across Latin America, claims the world's second-largest computing fleet at oil-field facilities, and eliminates an estimated 142,000 tons of CO2 equivalent annually.

ResFrac Corporation builds the industry's only fully coupled hydraulic fracturing and reservoir simulator, letting energy engineers model the full life of a well - from the first crack in the rock to years of production - in one continuous physics-based simulation. Founded in 2015 by Stanford-trained engineer Mark McClure, the Palo Alto company is used by over 35 operators and 50 institutions worldwide across shale, conventional and enhanced geothermal plays.
Stephanie Hendricks
Stephanie Hendricks is the co-founder and CEO of AGent Energy (formerly AiGent), a Houston-based energy technology company that uses AI to turn idle backup generators into dispatchable grid resources. A former Naval Warfare Intelligence officer with top-secret clearance and the ex-COO of demand-response leader Voltus, she is building software that aggregates and monetizes the roughly 185 GW of underutilized backup generation sitting across American commercial, industrial, and data-center sites. In August 2025 the company raised a $6M seed round led by Zero Infinity Partners and CIV.

Beacon Power Services (BPS) is an energy-technology company building data and grid-management software for Africa's power sector. Its AI-enabled platforms - Adora for real-time grid monitoring, CAIMS for utility asset and customer data, and the Xepp consumer app - help electricity distributors cut losses, prevent outages and digitize networks. Founded by aerospace engineer turned investment banker Bimbola Adisa, BPS now serves utilities reaching more than 50 million people across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Zambia and beyond, processing over a billion grid data points a day.
Chris Black
Chris Black is the CEO of GridX, Inc., an enterprise energy technology platform serving major US utilities. With nearly 30 years in technology and operations, he has been a central figure in the clean energy software sector - as CTO/COO at Tendril, he orchestrated the acquisitions that formed Uplight (now valued at $1.5B+), then invested via Huck Capital before taking the helm at GridX in April 2022 during its $40M Series C round. Under his leadership, GridX calculates 49 million bills daily, serves 40 million meters under contract, and models 1,000+ tariffs for utilities including PG&E, Southern California Edison, and ComEd.
Evan Neu
Evan Neu is Partner and General Counsel at Venrock, the storied venture capital firm born out of the Rockefeller family's investment legacy. Based in Palo Alto, he leads the firm's legal and regulatory strategy while overseeing operations and administration. Before joining Venrock in November 2022, Neu served as Managing Director and Deputy General Counsel at TPG, one of the world's leading global alternative asset managers, and earlier built his legal foundation as an Associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York.
