Cogny wants clubs to recognize their own fans

A ticket, a jersey, a renewal reminder. Cogny connects the scattered pieces of a fan’s life so sports teams can make a more informed next move.

Imagine a supporter buying a ticket on Tuesday and a jersey on Thursday. By Friday, the club has two transactions. Whether it recognizes one person depends on what happens between its systems. That small administrative question sits at the center of Cogny’s business. A team can have a crowded stadium and still struggle to recognize the people filling it.

The quick read / 01
  • The job: connect fan records and commercial workflows inside Salesforce.
  • The buyers: clubs, leagues and sports organizations managing fans and sponsors.
  • The distinction: sports software backed by implementation work, from ticket connectors to branded apps.

Cogny combines Salesforce consulting with products designed around sports operations. Its market is the business surrounding the match: tickets, memberships, sponsorships, service and repeat purchases. The interesting question is how an organization turns those activities into a relationship it can actually manage. That requires software, certainly. It also requires someone to decide what the software should remember.

The company describes an evolution from general Salesforce consulting toward sports specialization. A company video identifies Gustavo Rodrigues as a co-founder and board member. The distinction matters commercially: consulting answers a particular customer’s request, while a repeatable product packages lessons for the next customer. Cogny sells both. Its expertise rests partly in knowing which sports problems recur often enough to deserve their own module, rather than starting every engagement with a blank specification.

First, find the person

Cogny’s published Inter Miami case describes the practical failure: customer information, attendance, merchandise purchases and email interactions were dispersed across separate tools. Staff had to assemble the picture manually. The case says Inter Miami has been a customer since 2021. Its account of the work is revealing because the operational changes came before the more elaborate intelligence layer.

According to that August 2026 account, Cogny connected existing systems and helped retire five spreadsheets, automate 22 processes and connect six departments. These are company-reported results. They describe something less glamorous than a talking AI assistant: people spending less time reconstructing what their organization already knows. The relevant change was a live, shared record that made later decisions possible.

The lesson a reader can copy is the sequence. Pick a recurring decision, such as which member needs a renewal conversation. Identify the records needed to make it. Connect those records, assign responsibility and measure whether the decision improves. This is an interpretation of the case, but a useful one: a larger database earns its keep when somebody can act differently. Start with one team and one workflow, then ask whether staff can use the combined information without returning to the old exports. That is a test a manager can observe.

The connector has a calendar

SECUTIX’s documentation supplies an unusually concrete view of Cogny’s integration work. Its December 2023 description connects S-360 with Salesforce Service Cloud, moving contact information in both directions and order information into Salesforce. It estimates eight to ten weeks from scoping to production. Fields and business rules are mapped to each customer’s needs.

There is a distinction here between a reusable connector and an identical installation. Two clubs may use the same ticketing platform while defining customers, orders and service responsibilities differently. SECUTIX also described selling tickets directly from Salesforce as a planned proof of concept at that time. A buyer should separate documented functionality from a dated roadmap.

For an organization already investing in Salesforce, this gives Cogny a clear place: specialist products and people working within the existing platform. The alternatives include commissioning a custom implementation or choosing another sports commercial system. KORE Intelligence, now presented under Two Circles, also addresses audience and partnership operations. Buyers are comparing scope, integration work and operating fit, not simply dashboard colors.

The phone is the front door

Fans encounter another part of the business. On February 23, 2023, Chicago Fire announced a mobile app built with Cogny’s TeamUp suite. It brought together club news, videos, match updates and resources in a branded destination. The club also named Orlando City, Palmeiras and Cruzeiro among Cogny’s mobile app clients at the time.

That makes the company broader than a back-office CRM consultancy. Its AppExchange portfolio includes a fan app and website product with Salesforce-connected loyalty capabilities. It also lists venue incident reporting, covering matters such as medical assistance, maintenance and security. The portfolio follows the working life of a sports organization, from a supporter’s phone to a staff member’s incident report.

Palmeiras offers a further glimpse of the implementation relationship. In a public account of Salesforce World Tour São Paulo in 2024, club marketing representative Camila Nobrega credited Cogny’s support. Her focus was the supporter experience and the work of the people delivering it. That is a helpful corrective to a software-only reading of the business: the deployment involves the club’s own marketing and service teams, whose routines determine what fans eventually experience.

A sponsor buys a promise

Another customer arrives wearing a different badge: the commercial partner. Cogny’s Sponsorship Management module tracks assets, contracts, rate cards, availability and activations. Consider the ordinary problem this addresses. Selling a package creates obligations. Someone must know what remains available and what delivery has been promised. A shared inventory helps the sales conversation remain connected to the work that follows.

The listing starts at $2,000 per company per month, equivalent to $24,000 across twelve months at that rate. That is one module’s advertised starting price. Buyers still need to scope Salesforce access, implementation and their wider requirements separately. Cogny’s business combines paid software with consulting, training and support, so the buying decision involves both a product and a delivery relationship.

“The tickets.com integration lets us read fan intent and guide every sales rep through the right opportunity.”

Give the next action somewhere to land

The newer intelligence offering builds on those connections. Cogny describes fan segments, value and risk signals, with an Agentforce advisor in the Inter Miami deployment. Their usefulness depends on the underlying records and on staff having a workable next step. A renewal warning helps when somebody can contact the right person while the decision is still open.

This approach suits organizations prepared to maintain shared records and change everyday workflows. If departments keep conflicting definitions, or nobody owns follow-up, connected software has less to work with. The useful question for a club considering Cogny is wonderfully specific: which conversation with a fan or sponsor would be better tomorrow if the team could see the whole relationship today?
