The storage company that skips the trip to the warehouse. WheeKeep drops a weatherproof, lockable unit at your door, you pack it, and they store it in a secure facility - all managed from an app.
"Whee deliver, Whee pack, Whee store."
Ask most people what "self-storage" means and they will describe a chore: rent a van, drive across town, carry boxes up a ramp, and hope you remembered the padlock. WheeKeep, founded in Jeddah in 2020, was built around a single reversal of that routine. Instead of sending the customer to the storage unit, it sends the storage unit to the customer.
The mechanics are deliberately simple. A weatherproof, lockable container is delivered to a home or business. The customer packs it on their own schedule, with no clock running and no van to return. WheeKeep then collects the unit and moves it to a secured, CCTV-monitored facility - or, if the customer prefers, leaves it on-site for immediate access. Delivery, pickup, retrieval and scheduling are handled through a mobile app available on iOS and Android.
That model puts WheeKeep at the intersection of three businesses that rarely sit together: physical logistics (moving containers around cities), real estate (secure warehouse space), and software (the app that ties the two into an on-demand service). The company describes its work plainly as "innovative portable storage solutions for personal and commercial needs across Saudi Arabia."

WheeKeep serves two broad groups. On the consumer side are households in transition: people moving between homes, renovating a room, decluttering, or simply short on space in a growing city. For them, the pain is logistics - the friction of hauling belongings back and forth to a fixed facility. WheeKeep removes the trip entirely.
On the business side are retailers, e-commerce sellers and companies that need flexible room for inventory, seasonal overflow or equipment without signing a long warehouse lease. For refrigerated goods, the company offers temperature-controlled units alongside its ambient, climate-controlled storage. Both audiences share the same underlying need: secure space that flexes up or down without a permanent commitment.
Movers, renovators, and anyone squeezed for space. Short-term or long-term, packed at home and stored securely.

WheeKeep runs on a subscription-style model: customers rent units by the month, with delivery, pickup and retrieval bundled in. Larger tiers add perks such as priority scheduling and a dedicated account manager. Extra revenue comes from packing supplies and moving services.

Traditional self-storage in Saudi Arabia is largely fixed-location: warehouses you drive to and access on their terms. WheeKeep's difference is the delivery layer wrapped around the storage - the unit travels, not the customer - combined with software that turns booking, pickup and retrieval into app-based actions rather than phone calls and paperwork.
Where it sits in the market
The company operates in a Kingdom where cities are expanding quickly under Vision 2030, and where demand for flexible space is climbing faster than conventional storage has kept up. WheeKeep positions itself against fixed self-storage facilities, regional moving-and-storage firms, and other portable or tech-enabled entrants across the Gulf. Its edge is the bundle: weatherproof mobile units, secure CCTV-monitored facilities with fire-alarm systems, and an app that makes the whole thing feel on-demand.
WheeKeep was founded in 2020 by three Saudi professionals whose backgrounds lean heavily toward finance and operations - an unusual pedigree for a business built on shipping containers, and part of why the company's model reads as much like an asset-and-logistics operation as a consumer app.
