The Dispatch

A travel desk and a finance team, folded into one login

For most growing companies, business travel lives in the cracks between departments. An employee books a flight on a consumer site, forwards a confirmation email, saves a hotel receipt in a folder, and - weeks later - reconstructs the whole trip in a spreadsheet for reimbursement. Finance chases the paperwork. Nobody has a clear view of what the company actually spent.

WegoPro is built to close those cracks. It gives businesses a single platform to book flights and hotels, route bookings through approval workflows tied to a company travel policy, and automate the expense report at the other end - with real-time analytics sitting on top of all of it.

The product started life as Travelstop, a SaaS company founded in Singapore in 2017. In September 2023, Wego - the largest online travel marketplace in the Middle East and North Africa - acquired it. In January 2024, Wego relaunched the platform as WegoPro across seven MENA markets.

"WegoPro combines top-notch supply, advanced technology, user-friendly design, and human support to streamline corporate travel and expense management."Prashant Kirtane, CEO, WegoPro

The pitch is deceptively simple: the booking is the easy part; the reimbursement is where trust breaks down. WegoPro's answer is to enforce policy at the moment of booking - not months later in an audit - and to strip the busywork out of the expense report with receipt scanning, duplicate detection, and multi-currency support.

The bet underneath the product is that business software should feel like consumer software. Wego brought years of B2C travel experience to the table; WegoPro applies it to the notoriously unglamorous corner of corporate expense reports.

Products & Services

What you can actually do with it

Four capabilities that share one policy engine - so the guardrails that govern a booking also govern the expense report.

Book

Business Travel Booking

A unified booking experience with a large inventory of flights and hotels, AI-driven personalization, and a consumer-grade interface for both employees and travel administrators.

Control

Approvals & Travel Policies

Multi-level approval workflows and unlimited, customizable travel policies, so companies enforce spend controls at the point of booking rather than after the fact.

Expense

Expense Management

Automated expense reporting with receipt scanning, duplicate-expense detection, multi-currency support, and cloud storage for receipts to speed up submission and reimbursement.

Analyze

Travel & Expense Analytics

Real-time reporting and actionable insights that give finance teams visibility into travel spend and help optimize expenditure across the organization.

Who It's For

Growing companies, not global conglomerates

WegoPro targets small and mid-sized businesses - the segment that has outgrown ad-hoc booking but isn't large enough for a legacy travel management company with a call center and a contract.

As Travelstop, the platform was adopted by fast-growing companies across Asia - Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Bangkok. Since the WegoPro relaunch, the focus has shifted to businesses across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, and Egypt.

The Problem

Unmanaged travel is a data problem

  • Employees book on consumer sites, leaving finance with no live view of spend.
  • Expense reports are rebuilt by hand, weeks after the trip.
  • Travel policy exists on paper but isn't enforced at booking.
  • Multi-currency and duplicate charges slip through reconciliation.
Where It Fits

A slice of a very large market

Business travel is recovering worldwide, and the MENA region - WegoPro's launch market - is a meaningful and underserved piece of it.

Business travel spend, 2022 (US$, illustrative scale)
Global spend

How it's different. WegoPro's differentiator isn't the flight inventory - competitors like TravelPerk, Navan, and SAP Concur all have that. It's the combination of booking and expensing under a single policy engine, a consumer-grade interface, and Wego's regional supply and localization for the Middle East. Where legacy travel management companies lean on agents and contracts, WegoPro leans on self-serve software plus dedicated account support.
