Winston Chi
Winston Chi is the co-founder and CEO of NOSO Labs, a Y Combinator (Summer 2025) startup building AI agents that help home-services field technicians diagnose problems, close sales, and handle paperwork. A two-time founder focused on vertical AI, he previously started Butter Technologies, a food-wholesale software platform acquired by GrubMarket in 2024. With NOSO he is aiming the same playbook at the trades, starting with HVAC.
Vishwas Prabhakara
Vishwas Prabhakara is the co-founder and CEO of Honey Homes, a membership service that gives homeowners a dedicated, salaried handyperson for recurring maintenance and repairs. A Carnegie Mellon and Harvard Business School graduate, he spent 15-plus years in Silicon Valley product and operations roles - including ESPN, Digg, Yelp Reservations, and a stint as COO of the fintech Digit - before starting Honey Homes in 2021 with his wife Avantika and two other co-founders. The company operates across the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Dallas-Fort Worth and beyond, and has raised more than $21 million from investors including Khosla Ventures, Pear VC and Era Ventures.
George Eliadis
George Eliadis is the co-founder and CEO of Probook, a New York based company building an AI operating system for home services businesses such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors. A 24-year-old Wharton graduate who spent six summers pressure washing homes in upstate New York with his father, he started Probook to fix the operational problems he lived through in the field. In June 2026 the company raised a $40 million round, combining a $34 million Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz and a $6 million seed led by Sequoia Capital, and it now serves hundreds of clients across more than 35 states.
Matt Barber
Matt Barber is Chief Executive Officer of Sera Systems, a Dallas-based SaaS company building field service management software for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors. He came up through operating roles at 4th & 1 Ventures, SHREDmill, and Local Favorite Restaurants before joining Sera, where he rose into the CEO seat following the company's Series B, a round financed largely by home services contractors themselves.
Anjali Sardana
Anjali Sardana is the 24-year-old founder and CEO of Pronto, a Bengaluru-based instant home-services startup that brings household help - sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, laundry - to a customer's door in about ten minutes. A Georgetown biology graduate and former investor at Bain Capital and 8VC, she launched Pronto in 2025 and scaled it from roughly 1,000 daily bookings to more than 25,000 within a year, reaching a $200 million valuation with backing from Epiq Capital, General Catalyst, Bain Capital Ventures and Lachy Groom. Her stated mission is less about speed than dignity: giving India's invisible domestic workforce a formal identity, real pay, and standing.
Phil Krinner
Phil Krinner is the co-founder and CEO of Arch, a San Francisco company building AI revenue software for home services contractors, starting with HVAC and heat pumps. A Stanford GSB graduate and former McKinsey strategy consultant who once built large-scale solar plants and installed panels himself, Krinner started Arch after asking 15 contractors to quote a heat pump for his apartment and finding that not one could tell him whether it would save money. Arch uses public home data and AI to help contractors find the right homes, size systems in minutes, and run hyper-personalized campaigns. The company raised a $6.2M seed round in 2024 led by Coatue with Floodgate, Gigascale, ReGen and MCJ.
Michael Beaudoin
Michael Beaudoin is the CEO of Housecall Pro, the Denver-based vertical SaaS platform that helps plumbers, electricians, HVAC techs, cleaners and other home-service pros run their businesses from a phone. He joined the company as a board member in 2015 and stepped into the chief executive role in 2020, bringing two decades of experience leading and investing in consumer and home-services companies including HomeAdvisor, Einstein Bros. Bagels, and Waldo Photos, which he co-founded. Under his leadership Housecall Pro has scaled to serve tens of thousands of service businesses and roughly 1,400 employees, raising a $116.5M total war chest including a $65M Series D.
Nick Ornitz
Nick Ornitz is the co-founder and CEO of Topline Pro, a New York-based company building generative-AI software for home service professionals - roofers, painters, landscapers, cleaners and electricians. He started the company with Shannon Kay after the two met at Harvard Business School and dropped out to build it, pivoting from an earlier video-consult idea called ProPhone after Y Combinator. Topline Pro now positions itself as a full-time AI team that runs the marketing, sales and operations of a trade business in the background, and has driven more than $655 million in booked work for customers across all 50 states. Ornitz raised a $27M Series B led by Northzone in 2025, bringing total funding to $44M, and was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Enterprise Technology list in 2023.
Apurva Shrivastava
Apurva Shrivastava is the co-founder and Co-CEO of Avoca, a New York AI company that builds voice and workflow agents for home services businesses like HVAC, plumbing, and roofing contractors. An MIT computer science graduate and second-time founder who built AI products at Apple and engineered at Retool, he and co-founder Tyson Chen pivoted from restaurants to the trades after a chance encounter at a Texas conference. By 2026 Avoca had crossed a $1 billion valuation, 800-plus customers, and $125M-plus raised from Kleiner Perkins, Meritech, and General Catalyst.
Tyson Chen
Tyson Chen is the co-founder and co-CEO of Avoca, a New York based startup building AI agents that answer the phones, book jobs, and chase estimates for the trades - HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical. He met his co-founder Apurva Shrivastava at an MIT poker night, started out trying to save restaurants from missed calls, then pivoted after a Dallas heating-and-air company showed them that one missed call could mean a lost $40,000 install. In April 2026 Avoca raised a $125M+ Series B led by Meritech and General Catalyst at a $1 billion valuation.
Ryan Buckley
Ryan Buckley is the Co-Founder and CEO of Shovels, a Lafayette, California-based startup that turns fragmented government building permit records into a searchable intelligence layer for the construction and climate tech industries. Armed with degrees from UC Berkeley, MIT Sloan, and Harvard Kennedy School, Buckley spent years building parallel B2B ventures before co-founding Shovels in 2022 with Luka Kacil. The company now processes 180+ million building permits, covers 30 million US addresses, and raised a $5M seed round in June 2025 led by Base10 Partners. A prolific blogger, part-time college professor, and author of 'The Parallel Entrepreneur,' Buckley is building what he calls the 'Pitchbook for the construction industry.'
