Malachi Charbonneau
Malachi Charbonneau is the general manager and chief executive of medaptus, a Boston-based healthcare software company that automates charge capture, revenue integrity and hospitalist patient assignment. He joined medaptus in 2011 and worked his way up through implementation, customer care, and sales before taking the top job in 2021, giving him a rare, ground-level view of how hospitals actually run their revenue cycles and staff their care teams. Under his leadership medaptus, now a Volaris Group business, has expanded its Charge Pro and Assign products and partnered with large health systems such as Banner Health.
Shayan Khorassani
Shayan Khorassani is the Field CEO at Huma, the London-based AI health infrastructure company powering regulated digital health applications for pharma, providers, and governments across 70+ countries. A licensed architect turned health technology operator, he moved from designing physical structures at Tom Wiscombe Architecture and SCI-Arc to translating Huma's platform into deployments for global health systems.
Nick Shelly
Nick Shelly is the co-founder and CEO of Apero Health, a Y Combinator-backed (S19) medical-billing and revenue-cycle company in San Francisco that helps healthcare practices get paid faster and gives patients clearer bills. Before software, he was a computer scientist with an unusually wide runway: a U.S. Air Force Academy graduate, a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, a Stanford CS researcher in computer networking, and an engineer at Apple, Nicira, and Forward Networks. He turned that systems-and-networks training toward one of the least glamorous, most broken corners of American life - the medical bill - and built Apero with co-founder Jacinda Shelly to fix the plumbing behind it.

He holds a BS in Computer Science from UC Santa Cruz and brings deep technical fluency to a leadership role that sits at the intersection of complex regulatory compliance, clinical workflow optimization, and enterprise software development.

Adam Farren is the CEO of Canvas Medical, a San Francisco-based programmable EMR platform accelerating everyday medicine through AI-powered clinical workflows. With nearly two decades of experience scaling venture-backed companies across healthcare, fintech, media, and education, Farren rose from teacher and high school basketball coach to one of healthcare tech's most active growth operators. He spent eight combined years as Chief Growth Officer at Elation Health and Osmind before joining Canvas as President and COO in April 2023, then ascending to CEO in September 2024. Under his leadership, Canvas launched Hyperscribe - an open-source AI clinical copilot - and the Backplane platform for AI agent deployment, betting that the agentic future of medicine runs on open, programmable infrastructure.
Reshma Khilnani
Reshma Khilnani is the Co-Founder and CEO of Medplum, an open-source, FHIR-native healthcare developer platform that gives builders the infrastructure to create custom EHRs, patient portals, and clinical apps without starting from scratch. A three-time founder with exits to Box and Ro, she previously built MedXT (YC W13) and Droplet Health before returning to Y Combinator as a Visiting Group Partner and then launching Medplum in the S22 batch. An MIT computer science graduate with deep expertise in healthcare regulation and payments infrastructure, she is one of the most technically fluent CEOs in digital health.
