AVP Enterprise Growth / Adobe Experience Cloud
Ten years inside one of tech's most complex platforms. Started by picking up the phone. Still at it - only now the phone calls close enterprise deals for a $23 billion software company.
"I work at Adobe. Father of two amazing boys. I love to mountain bike, boat, grill and love all things tech."
- Brian Bunker / @bunkerbrian on X
The rare career that didn't need a lateral move to find altitude. Every step was at Adobe or in preparation for it.
His LinkedIn handle is brianrbunker - the R suggests a middle name that anchors an otherwise camera-ready name for a VP badge.
He studied Technical Sales at Weber State - a degree designed for exactly the career he built. No detour through philosophy or finance.
Before enterprise software, he managed wireless retail stores in Utah - one of the most pressure-tested sales environments in consumer technology.
Adobe's Digital Experience segment - the business Bunker works in - generated over $5.3 billion in fiscal 2024 revenue.
He served as Team Lead at Operation Underground Railroad, a Utah-based anti-human-trafficking organization, between Adobe VP roles.
Utah geography means mountain biking and boating are not contradictions - you can hit the trails in the morning and be on a reservoir by afternoon.
Adobe Experience Cloud is not a product. It's an ecosystem - a constellation of enterprise software tools that sits between a brand and its customers across every digital touchpoint. When a retailer personalizes its homepage for returning customers, runs B2B marketing automation through Marketo, or connects ad spend data to conversion outcomes in Adobe Analytics, it's using the platform Bunker is tasked with expanding.
The "enterprise growth" part of his title is specific: he's not managing existing customer relationships at scale - he's finding and closing the deals that add new large enterprises to the Adobe roster, and expanding the platform's footprint inside accounts that already use part of it.
In 2023, Adobe Experience Platform and native apps crossed $1 billion in book of business. The total Digital Experience segment crossed $5.3 billion in fiscal 2024. Those are the numbers Bunker's work moves.
