Before Zventus could get mortgage people interested in its blockchain lab, it had to explain a word. The lab launched in 2021 to work on lending processes. But blockchain came with baggage. In webinars and training sessions, technology chief Marvin Bantugan recalled, the team began with four words: “Blockchain is not crypto.”
That is a revealing place for an outsourcing company to start. A technical proposal had encountered a human obstacle: what people thought they were being asked to trust. Zventus’s account says explaining the distinction helped participants get comfortable enough to learn. In January 2023, the company announced an end-to-end home lending proof of concept.
- Zventus combines outsourced teams with consulting and technology.
- Customers can manage the work, share management, or delegate it.
- Its lending, healthcare, and training initiatives make the offer concrete.
The episode offers a useful way into the business. Zventus works on the space between having a capability and getting an organization to use it. That space can contain a misunderstanding, a badly designed handoff, or a manager who has too many people to train.
Who owns Tuesday morning?
Zventus sells management consulting, workforce services, and technology delivery. Its customers include lenders, insurers, healthcare organizations, and startups. The catalogue covers software development, analytics, finance, accounting, sales, and marketing. Buyers can select individual functions or a broader operation.
There is an important distinction inside that catalogue. With staff augmentation, specialists work under the customer’s direction. With managed services, Zventus deploys and manages people, technology, and processes against agreed service levels and performance indicators. Specialized outsourcing can sit between those arrangements, with management shared or assigned to either party.
Imagine buying help because an internal manager is already overwhelmed. Adding five people under that manager may increase capacity while adding supervision. Delegating a defined process changes the assignment. This is an inference from the delivery model, but it is the purchasing question hiding behind the staffing question: who owns Tuesday morning when something goes wrong?
Who owns Tuesday morning when something goes wrong?
The management question inside the staffing decision
Zventus lets customers choose onshore, nearshore, or offshore delivery. That flexibility places it among BPO providers, staffing specialists, and technology consultancies. Its competitive argument is the combination: people plus operating expertise plus technical implementation. A buyer evaluating that argument should examine the proposed workflow as closely as the résumés.
A lender discovers the cost of friction
One published Zventus case study begins with an unnamed lender whose offshore provider was struggling with quality. The lender could not scale its production of loan estimates. Zventus reports that production subsequently increased by more than 100%. The useful detail is the original constraint: the business already had outside help.
In another case, the company reports a 45% reduction in operating expenses for an unnamed global insurance client dealing with premium reconciliation and a growing database. These are company-reported outcomes from particular engagements. They illustrate the kinds of work Zventus takes on; they should not become a forecast for the next buyer.
What does the service cost? Zventus’s FAQ says each project is different and pricing depends on the client’s needs. The sensible comparison is the full cost of completing the work: management time, training, rework, and the delivery team. A low quoted rate can look less attractive once errors return to an internal employee’s desk.

A fintech with people in the box
FinTech-in-a-Box, announced in late 2022, brings the combination into focus. It offers established lenders capabilities across origination and servicing, including specialized people, technology, and processes. A lender can select support for entering a market or expanding an existing operation.
The name sounds like something that arrives with a login. The description is closer to an assembled operating capability. That matters when comparing alternatives: a software subscription, a recruitment contract, and a managed lending process answer different questions. Zventus is asking buyers to consider those questions together.
The front desk is part of the product
Healthcare makes the same proposition easier to picture. Zventus’s non-clinical services cover registration, scheduling, insurance verification, treatment authorization, records, billing, and reporting. Each item sounds administrative. Together they describe much of what a patient encounters around an appointment.
The connection between domain knowledge and service quality became explicit in October 2025. Zventus appointed Daniela Martinez, MD, to lead Zventus University, its learning platform, and its Wellness Center. Her remit included healthcare training in anatomy, US industry standards, and administrative practices, alongside employee well-being.
In April 2026, Zventus also announced renewed SOC 2, HIPAA, and HITECH assessment by A-LIGN. For prospective customers handling sensitive information, the practical task is to establish how the proposed work, systems, and access permissions fit the engagement. Security claims belong in that operating discussion.
A classroom with most of the hours outside it
The training idea has a physical address in Ensenada. In September 2025, Zventus announced a Center of Excellence at the Instituto Tecnológico de Ensenada. Its dual-training model allocates approximately 20% of students’ time to theoretical learning and 80% to practical training.
Approximate allocation described in the 2025 announcement.

Founder and president Angel Alban described the partnership as an investment in local talent and client capabilities. For a workforce supplier, helping develop people is a logical extension of finding them. The arrangement also makes a specific commitment visible: most learning time is intended to happen through practical work.
What a buyer can borrow
Zventus’s own outsourcing advice is refreshingly operational. Assign one internal point of contact. Define responsibilities. Integrate the outside team into the business. These habits are available to any manager, including one who never signs a Zventus contract.
The model needs a customer willing to make those decisions. If nobody owns the handoff, or the work cannot be defined well enough to evaluate, another team may simply inherit the confusion. Start with one process, establish what good performance means, and decide who can change it. That is a practical lesson to take from a company whose mortgage experiment began by making sure everyone understood the same word.
