WonderBotz and
the work after
the bot

An overnight report. An invoice that posts itself. A human who handles the exception. WonderBotz is building its business around the unglamorous details that make automation useful.

The reports kept timing out. At a global paper and packaging manufacturer, procurement staff were trying to discover which products were losing money. They searched across reports, matched cost records and waited for elderly systems to finish their calculations. The information existed. Getting it into a useful shape was the problem. In the company’s account of the project, WonderBotz made a wonderfully prosaic intervention: let the reports run while the plant was off duty.

The useful bits
  • WonderBotz builds and runs automation across existing enterprise systems.
  • Its work connects software bots, AI agents and human reviewers.
  • The buying decision includes implementation, ongoing support and ownership of exceptions.

A report on the night shift

WonderBotz consolidated the reporting through one ERP tool. Automation identified product IDs crossing a loss threshold, assembled rebid packages and sent them to procurement. The company reports $400,000 in cost avoidance. That figure describes the customer’s reported benefit, rather than the price of the engagement. The intervention is revealing because the clever part was arranging the work: when the system ran, what it checked and who received the answer.

That is a useful entrance to WonderBotz, an enterprise automation firm with a name that sounds more like a toy on a birthday list. Its territory includes invoices, reconciliations, documents, sales orders and the troublesome gaps between applications. These are jobs businesses repeat thousands of times. A small delay, multiplied across a large operation, becomes a department’s daily weather.

Two founders, two kinds of expertise

Steve LaValle and Bhavyesh Virani founded WonderBotz in 2017 after careers in the Big Four world. Their current co-CEO arrangement makes the division of labor unusually explicit. LaValle concentrates on clients and business improvement. Virani leads technical design, delivery and quality. LaValle previously held leadership roles at PwC, EY, IBM and Merkle; Virani led an automation practice at EY.

The company began with robotic process automation, or RPA: software carrying out repeatable computer tasks. Its own history dates offshore expansion to 2019 and prebuilt solution patterns to 2020. In December 2021 it announced recognition as an IDC Innovator in intelligent automation services. The trajectory runs from building individual automations toward organizing the larger operation around them.

Today, that puts WonderBotz between an enterprise’s software suppliers and the people responsible for getting work done. A buyer could build an internal team, engage a specialist implementer or hire a large consultancy. WonderBotz’s stated distinction is the combination of business advice, implementation and continuing operation. The distinction becomes meaningful when a workflow needs attention after the consultants’ presentation ends.

The invoice is only the beginning

A healthcare case makes the work more concrete. At an Indian fertility-clinic network, invoices arrived by email, moved into spreadsheets, needed tax classification and became journal vouchers before payment. WonderBotz built a flow that watched inboxes, checked business rules, flagged incomplete information and posted validated entries into Oracle. The company reports processing-time reductions of up to 90% and the removal of up to 95% of manual effort.

Those are results for a particular engagement. The interesting mechanism is visible without treating them as a forecast: connect each stage, validate the information and preserve a record of what happened. The person reviewing an exception needs the context that brought it there. Otherwise, faster processing can leave the difficult work waiting in a different queue.

Its customer mix reflects that territory. WonderBotz serves mid-market businesses and large enterprises; its website displays logos including Bloomberg, eBay, Equinix and MGM Resorts. Its technology ecosystem includes UiPath, SS&C Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Platform, ABBYY and Tungsten Automation. These suppliers provide components; WonderBotz’s job is to fit them into the customer’s operation. It is an integration and services business with reusable solutions, rather than a single application everyone installs.

Someone has to run the thing

In September 2025, WonderBotz publicly introduced Agentic Process Management, abbreviated APM. Its launch argument concerned “execution drift”: systems could keep completing actions while losing alignment with the business goal. The current framework has four pillars: orchestration, fidelity, stewardship and data foundation. In everyday language, that means coordinating the work, checking its direction, assigning oversight and giving it dependable information.

“Launch day is the easy day.”

Bhavyesh Virani / August 2026

AlwayzOn is the managed-service expression of that idea. It brings together infrastructure, governance, orchestration, monitoring and advisory support. Customers can buy development help, use reusable patterns or carry more of the building themselves. The commercial model combines scoped professional work, technology licensing and resale, enablement and ongoing managed delivery. The relationship can continue long after a workflow first runs.

WonderBotz’s August 2026 announcement reported its first Inc. 5000 appearance, at No. 2,421, with revenue growth of 137% between 2022 and 2025. It also reported 220% growth in client logos over that period. Those numbers establish the company’s account of its commercial momentum. They cannot tell a buyer whether a particular invoice workflow will pay for itself.

Copy the sequence, count the costs

The practical lesson is to start with one costly handoff. Establish the current processing time, error rate and exception volume. Identify who owns the result. Then compare implementation, licensing, infrastructure and support costs against the work actually removed. Cost avoidance deserves its own line in that calculation; it does not automatically become cash in the bank.

Read as a buying guide, these cases also suggest limits. Inaccessible systems, unreliable records or disputed business rules can undermine an automated flow. A low-volume task may not justify the operating expense. And exceptions still need someone authorized to resolve them. WonderBotz’s company purpose, “Restoring Humanity. Now.”, sounds expansive. Its most persuasive examples bring that ambition down to a recognizable scale: a person receiving usable information in time to make a decision.
