The Story

A data problem wearing a truck's clothes

Ask a fleet manager in Southeast Asia what keeps them up at night and the answer is rarely the vehicles themselves. It is not knowing - where a truck actually is, how the driver is really driving, whether a container's seal is still intact after a two-day ferry crossing. TransTRACK was built in Jakarta in 2019 around that gap.

Co-founders Anggia Meisesari and Aris Pujud Kurniawan set out to convert that uncertainty into something an operator could see on a screen. The company describes its job in three words - track, monitor, optimize - and pairs physical devices (GPS trackers, sensors, electronic seals) with a software platform that turns the readings into decisions.

The wedge was simple visibility. The business that grew out of it is broader: a fleet operation optimizer and supply-chain integrator that today counts more than 1,200 clients and over 150,000 tracked units.

Maximize fleet efficiency, ensure consistency, with TransTRACK's fleet telematics proficiency. TransTRACK company tagline

What distinguishes the company is its refusal to pick a side of the hardware-software line. Plenty of vendors sell a tracker; others sell a dashboard. TransTRACK ships both, because a half-solution stops being useful the moment a vessel drifts out of cellular range or a sensor needs to trigger an alert on its own.

That integration is also the moat. Owning the device and the platform means the data is clean end to end, and customers can plug it into their own systems through open APIs rather than stitching together three vendors.

What It Does

Who uses it, and the problems it solves

The customers

TransTRACK sells to enterprises that move things for a living. Its client base spans manufacturing, logistics and distribution, retail and e-commerce, automotive, oil, gas and mining, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, construction, financial and leasing, food and beverage, chemical transport, and port and marine operators.

Geographically the base is anchored in Indonesia - more than 110 cities - with operations extending into Malaysia and Singapore. The scale is measured less in logos than in the roughly 150,000 units feeding the platform data every day.

The problems

Fleets leak money in ways that are hard to see: idle fuel burn, unplanned breakdowns, risky driving, cargo that goes dark between checkpoints. TransTRACK targets each with a specific tool - fuel-consumption monitoring, predictive and scheduled maintenance, driver-behavior analysis, and GPS-sealed cargo tracking.

The company reports client outcomes of 20-40% higher fleet productivity and 10-30% lower operating costs. In an industry where margins turn on single-digit gains, those are figures worth scrutinizing - and the reason customers keep the subscriptions running.

The Difference

Why it is not just another GPS tracker

HARDWARE + SOFTWARE

Owns the full stack

Devices and platform are built together, so the data stays clean from sensor to dashboard - no three-vendor stitching.

BEYOND ROADS

Built for the sea

Vessel monitoring with hybrid satellite + global-SIM connectivity keeps ships visible where cellular-only tools go dark.

LOCAL DEPTH

Regional-first design

A dedicated Halal Logistic Platform and port-focused tools reflect the actual shape of Southeast Asian supply chains.

Track, monitor, optimize. TransTRACK operating philosophy

Against global names like Samsara, Geotab, Cartrack and Verizon Connect, or regional peers such as McEasy, TransTRACK's argument is proximity: it builds for the islands, ports, borders and compliance regimes its customers actually operate in, and it backs the software with its own hardware.
