The Australian company turning a firehose of industrial data into decisions - one platform, a hundred connectors, and none of the silos.

Walk onto a modern job site, a rental yard, or a cold-storage depot and you will find the same paradox: more data than ever, and less clarity than the operators would like. A telematics box on an excavator reports one way. The ERP that invoices for that excavator speaks another. A temperature probe in a refrigerated trailer logs to somewhere else entirely, and a paper form on a clipboard captures the rest. Inauro was built for exactly this mess.
Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Neutral Bay, Sydney, Inauro is an Industrial AI and IoT software company. Its flagship product, Perspio, is a data fusion platform: it ingests real-time signals from sensors, OEM telematics, ERP, CRM and digital forms through more than a hundred connectors, then reconciles them into a single, contextual view of an operation. The company describes the goal plainly - to make sure the right information reaches the right person, in real time. Its own shorthand is blunter: data is power, but only once someone can act on it.
That framing matters because it explains what Inauro is not. It is not primarily a hardware vendor, and it does not try to rip out the systems a business already runs. Instead it sits in the unglamorous middle layer - the integration and intelligence tier - where most IoT projects quietly stall. The founders' wager is that the hardest, most valuable problem in connected operations is not collecting data. It is getting a hundred disconnected sources to agree on what is happening right now.
Telemetry lives in one dashboard, invoicing in another, compliance in a spreadsheet, and field checks on paper. Supervisors reconcile it by hand - if at all. Failures are found after they happen, not before. Reporting is a monthly scramble.
Every source flows into one real-time picture. Assets are tracked live and linked to contracts and invoicing. Maintenance is scheduled from actual usage. Temperature and safety compliance run as a continuous feed. The right alert reaches the right person automatically.
The consequences are concrete. A rental operator can see every device across mixed fleets through one interface, and tie that visibility straight to rental contracts and administration. A food-safety operator can retire the clipboard rounds and let sensor data prove compliance on its own. A construction fleet can pull John Deere, Case, Kobelco and Hitachi machines into a single contextual view and start automating servicing around it.
Perspio, and the modules that ride on it
The data fusion engine. 100+ connectors unify IoT, telematics, ERP, CRM and forms into real-time analytics and automated workflows.
Live location, utilization and condition tracking across mixed fleets of equipment and serialized assets.
Uses telemetry and usage data to schedule servicing and flag failures before they cause downtime.
Automated temperature monitoring and alerting for suppliers, carriers and end-users to protect quality and meet food-safety rules.
Turns fused data into automated tasks - invoicing, contract linkage, servicing and compliance actions.
Aggregates field telemetry into sustainability, emissions and environmental-compliance reporting - plus white-label customer portals.
The IoT market is thriving, but most solutions create data silos. We want to make sure the right information reaches the right person in real-time.
Inauro's bet is that operational intelligence is horizontal - the same underlying problem shows up in wildly different industries. Its customer base spans 100+ operators, from SMBs to enterprises, monitoring tens of thousands of connected assets globally. Rental firms Uphire, RAM Equipment and Allcott Hire use Perspio to unify telematics and ERP data. Poultry supplier Game Farm runs automated temperature compliance through it, via an integration with investor SafetyCulture.
Beyond named users, Inauro's connector work touches OEMs including John Deere, Case Construction, Kobelco, Hitachi and Kubota - the machinery brands whose telemetry it pulls into a single view. The industries it serves read like a cross-section of the physical economy: equipment rental, construction, cold chain and hospitality, agriculture, logistics, and mining and resources.
From a rental giant's IoT program to a standalone company
Third-generation building-and-construction leader with 24+ years in the sector and former CEO of Kennards Hire, where he oversaw IoT innovation across 180 branches and 1,700 employees. MBA, Sydney University.
20+ years in IT and digital technology. As GM for Strategic Projects at Kennards Hire, he led development of the proprietary EasyTRAK IoT platform - the seed of what became Inauro. EMBA, Sydney University.
The leadership bench extends past the two founders: Max Girault (Chief Commercial Officer, a UNSW IoT mentor), Mitch Hirsch (CTO, a telecommunications engineer with 13 years at Kennards Hire), and Josh Yeamans (Head of North America, a former firefighter and paramedic). Around 18 people describe themselves as diverse innovators, engineers and problem-solvers - with an operations-first habit of understanding how a business actually runs before layering technology on top.
Plenty of companies sell connected-operations software - Samsara, Particle, Losant and PTC's ThingWorx among them, alongside rental-specific telematics and ERP tools. What Inauro leans on is depth of integration and industry knowledge rather than hardware breadth. Perspio is deliberately agnostic: it connects to what a customer already owns instead of demanding a rip-and-replace, and it treats the messy translation between systems as the product itself.
That positioning is reinforced by the founders' provenance. Inauro did not theorize the IoT data problem from a whiteboard; it grew out of Kennards Hire's real deployment across a serialized fleet at national scale. The result is a platform tuned for the practical texture of heavy industry - and a business model that sells the same core engine into six sectors rather than betting on one.
Inauro is a B2B SaaS business. It licenses Perspio on a subscription basis, generally scaled to the number of connected assets, data connectors and modules a customer deploys, with additional revenue from onboarding, integration and custom connector development. Because the platform is horizontal, the same engine is sold into six industries - a model that trades the focus of a single-vertical tool for reach across the physical economy.
