After two decades spent deep in storage, product and transformation work, Panzura's CEO is betting that the least glamorous layer of enterprise technology may become AI's most important one.

After low-latency trading systems and enterprise copilots, the Unsiloed AI co-founder found his company in a broken table: the place where flat text loses the plot.

The Ohalo co-founder left institutional finance with a taste for difficult systems. His company now turns contracts, archives, and forgotten folders into data that enterprises can actually understand.

Kushal Byatnal is the co-founder and CEO of Extend, a New York company building a full-stack cloud for document processing. Extend turns messy PDFs, images, and emails into production-ready structured data using vision models, large language models, and human-in-the-loop tooling, and is used by teams at Brex, Chime, Flatiron Health, Opendoor, and Checkr. A two-time technical founder and Duke computer science graduate, Byatnal was an early engineer at Brex and co-founded the creator fintech Stir before starting Extend in 2023. In June 2025 the company raised $17 million led by Innovation Endeavors.
Brad Schneider is the founder and CEO of Nomad Data, a New York based AI platform that helps teams find, buy, and read the data hidden inside documents and external vendors. An MIT-trained engineer turned hedge fund investor (Tiger Management, Jericho Capital) and CFA charterholder, he spent a decade using alternative data to beat markets before deciding the harder problem was simply finding the right data in the first place. Nomad Data lets users describe what they need in plain English and routes them to answers, not raw spreadsheets, with products spanning data discovery, a Doc Chat engine for unstructured text, and vendor relationship management for consultancies, insurers, and asset managers.
Paul Nemirovsky is the cofounder and CEO of dMetrics, the Brooklyn-born AI company behind Minsky, a natural language processing platform that lets non-technical experts steer AI across the world's largest financial, pharmaceutical, and public-sector organizations. An MIT Media Lab PhD who once built musical navigation shoes and showed interactive art at the Centre Pompidou, he has grown dMetrics from two founders to a 40-person team without venture capital, and in 2024 the company landed a Department of Defense AI/ML production contract worth up to $99.5 million.
Richard Meng is the co-founder and CEO of Roe AI, a Y Combinator-backed (W24) startup building an AI-powered data warehouse that lets data teams query unstructured, multimodal data - documents, images, web pages, video - with plain SQL. A UC Berkeley CS and Statistics double major, he previously led generative AI engineering at Snowflake and worked on the Skills and Knowledge Graph products at LinkedIn before founding Roe AI in 2023 to solve a problem that nagged him for a decade: the 80% of enterprise data that never gets used because it isn't in neat rows and columns.

Sedarius Tekara Perrotta is the co-founder and CEO of Shelf, a New York-based knowledge management and AI data-quality platform. A former Peace Corps volunteer turned serial software entrepreneur, he has spent two decades applying machine learning and NLP to the unglamorous problem of finding the right answer fast - building knowledge systems for the World Bank, Harvard Business School, MIT and Stanford before turning that craft into a company that raised $52.5M in Series B funding led by Tiger Global and Insight Partners.
Anant Bhardwaj is the founder and CEO of Instabase, a San Francisco-based AI platform that helps enterprises extract intelligence from unstructured data - PDFs, images, emails, and documents of every kind. He dropped out of a PhD at MIT in 2015 to build what has become a $1.24 billion company with $277M in total funding, serving clients like NatWest, AXA, Uber, and four of the five largest U.S. banks. Born in Bihar, India, he studied at Pune, Stanford, and MIT before pioneering the idea that the enterprise's biggest untapped asset is the data it can't yet read.

Kon Leong is the CEO and co-founder of ZL Technologies, a Milpitas-based enterprise software company he built from the ground up in 1999 to tackle the problem nobody else wanted to solve: the mountain of unstructured human data - emails, documents, messages - that sits at the center of every corporate compliance, legal, and AI challenge. A serial entrepreneur who migrated from China to India to Canada to the US, Leong brought a rare mix of deep IT engineering, Wall Street M&A finance, and startup grit to a market that was just waking up to its own data problem. Today, ZL Technologies serves Fortune 500 companies and government agencies across financial services, healthcare, and the public sector, with a platform that manages data in-place at speeds up to 1,000 times faster than conventional approaches.
Sid Manchkanti is the Co-Founder and CEO of Pulse, a production-grade document intelligence platform that converts complex unstructured documents into LLM-ready structured data. A Berkeley CS graduate with experience at NVIDIA and D.E. Shaw, he co-founded Pulse in 2024 after going through Y Combinator's Summer 2024 batch. The company raised a $3.9M seed round led by Nat Friedman and Daniel Gross, and has processed over one billion pages for Fortune 100 enterprises across finance, healthcare, insurance, legal, and supply chain sectors.
