He learned the sales craft the hard way, selling Cutco knives door to door as a teenager and ranking among the company's top reps worldwide, then spent two years as a McKinsey business analyst before leaving in 2020 to code Siro's first product himself. James Ding is the co-founder and CEO of Draftwise, a New York-based legal AI company building contract drafting, review, and negotiation software for elite law firms. A former engineering lead at Palantir with a computer science degree from Emory University, Ding started Draftwise in 2020 after interviewing about 100 lawyers and concluding that repetitive contract work was ripe for automation. The company went through Y Combinator, raised a $5M seed in 2023 and a $20M Series A led by Index Ventures in 2024, and now serves clients among the world's top-tier law firms from offices in New York and London.
Curtsy
Curtsy is a mobile-first, peer-to-peer resale marketplace where Gen Z and young millennial women buy and sell secondhand clothing, shoes and accessories. Founded in 2016 and originally a dress-rental service, it pivoted to resale and built its edge around making listing fast for casual sellers - using machine learning to suggest prices, fill in item details and estimate shipping weight, backed by human review. Sellers keep more of their money than on rival platforms (a ~19-20% commission), buyers save up to 70% on brands like Lululemon, Free People and SKIMS, and the app carries a 4.8-star rating across tens of thousands of reviews. Curtsy raised an $11M Series A led by Index Ventures in January 2021, part of $14.5M total funding.
Shane Curran
Shane Curran is the founder and CEO of Evervault, an encryption infrastructure company he started in 2018 after dropping out of University College Dublin three days into a business and law degree. A year earlier, at 16, he had won the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition with a post-quantum encrypted storage project called qCrypt. Evervault sells developer-facing tools that keep sensitive data - card numbers, health records, keys - encrypted while still being processed, running inside AWS Nitro Enclaves. The company has raised $46 million from Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, Index Ventures and Ribbit Capital, most recently a $25M Series B in March 2026.
Chris Ellis
Chris Ellis is the co-founder and CEO of Thatch, a San Francisco healthtech-meets-fintech company that lets employers hand workers tax-free dollars to buy and manage their own health benefits through ICHRA. A former cancer researcher who started at MIT and studied at Duke, Ellis lost his father to cancer at age six, an experience that shaped both his skepticism of the healthcare system and his drive to rebuild how it is paid for. Eunjoon (EJ) Cho is the co-founder and CEO of Tofu, a San Mateo AI platform that automates personalized, multichannel B2B marketing at scale. A Stanford PhD who trained speech-recognition neural networks at Google and worked at Meta, Affirm and Fast, Cho spent years mapping the generative-AI landscape before ChatGPT opened the door. He started Tofu with Honglei Liu and Elaine Zelby in 2023, raised about $17M from SignalFire, Index Ventures and HubSpot Ventures, and grew revenue 12x in roughly a year by replacing the bloated stack of point tools marketers juggle with one platform that ships finished assets.
Thatch
Thatch is a San Francisco health benefits platform that lets employers give workers a tax-free monthly healthcare budget instead of a one-size-fits-all group plan. Employees shop a marketplace for their own medical, dental and vision coverage, then spend any leftover budget on care through a Thatch debit card. Built around ICHRA - a 2020-era IRS rule - the company aims to unbundle health insurance from a single employer plan and hand the choice back to individuals. Since launching in 2023 it has served more than 1,000 businesses and raised about $84.5 million across seed, Series A and Series B rounds.

Moment is a New York fintech building the AI operating system for investment management. Founded in 2022 by former Citadel quants, it unifies trading, portfolio management, research, reporting, and compliance for fixed income and beyond into a single platform with an API layer. In roughly 18 months it grew from powering $300 billion to more than $10 trillion in client assets, working with firms like Edward Jones, LPL Financial, and Hightower Advisors. The company has raised $134 million across rounds led by Index Ventures, with backing from Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed, and others.
Shimin Ooi
Shimin Ooi is the CEO of Sleep Reset, a virtual sleep clinic that pairs licensed clinical care with a proprietary CBT-I program to treat insomnia without sleeping pills. A Princeton graduate who built her career across McKinsey, Pilot, and Index Ventures, she now runs a company arguing that a lot of what people call burnout is really untreated bad sleep. In 2025 she took Sleep Reset's pitch to the HLTH stage and walked away with the AARP AgeTech After Dark prize.
Dylan Parker
Dylan Parker is the co-founder and CEO of Moment, the AI operating system for investment management. A former Citadel Securities and Jane Street fixed income quant, he and two Harvard friends set out to drag the $150-trillion bond market out of spreadsheets and chat threads. In under four years Moment went from $300 billion to over $10 trillion in client assets monitored and raised $134 million across three rounds, counting Edward Jones, LPL Financial, and Hightower Advisors as customers.

Ryan Daniels is the cofounder and CEO of Crosby, a hybrid AI law firm that pairs licensed lawyers with proprietary AI agents to review commercial contracts (MSAs, NDAs, DPAs) in under an hour at fixed per-document pricing. A Stanford Law graduate and former startup general counsel who got tired of being the bottleneck on his own company's deals, Daniels built the product he wished he had. Since emerging from stealth in 2025, Crosby has negotiated more than $1 billion in contracts for clients like Cursor and Clay, and raised about $85.8M from Sequoia, Index, Lux Capital and Bain Capital Ventures.

She co-founded Kindred in 2021 with fellow Opendoor alum Justine Palefsky after a week locked in a cabin whiteboarding ideas. John Gleeson is the Founder and General Partner of Success Venture Partners, a $10M seed-stage venture firm in San Francisco laser-focused on the post-sales customer success space.
