Steijn Pelle is the co-founder and CEO of Lassie, a San Francisco AI company building an autonomous back-office worker that runs the financial admin of independent businesses, starting with dental and medical practices. A Dutch transplant to Silicon Valley with roughly 15 years in startups, he cut his teeth on consumer growth at HealthTap, Coinbase and Robinhood before founding Lassie in 2021. In June 2026 the company raised a $35M Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz, bringing total funding to $47M, while operating in more than 700 practices across 49 states.
Bo Davis
Bo Davis is the co-founder and CEO of MarginEdge, an Arlington, Virginia restaurant management and bill-payment platform he launched in 2015 with fellow restaurateur Roy Phillips. Before software, Davis ran restaurants - he founded Wasabi, a group of conveyor-belt sushi spots in D.C. and Boston. Before restaurants, he sold an education software company, Prometheus, to Blackboard in 2002 and served in the Peace Corps in Macedonia. MarginEdge, which turns a shoebox of restaurant invoices into real-time cost data, has raised more than $120 million and serves thousands of restaurants across North America.
Rashmi Melgiri
Rashmi 'Rush' Melgiri is the co-founder and CEO of Functional Finance, a San Francisco insurtech building the financial operations platform that automates billing, premium collection, reconciliation, and money movement for insurance operators. An MIT-trained economist, she previously co-founded and ran operations at CoverWallet, the commercial insurance startup acquired by Aon in 2020. She started Functional Finance in 2021 after living the pain of chasing money across email chains inside the insurance back office, and has since raised $36M, including a $20M Series A led by Walkabout Ventures, while growing premium payment volume more than 2,500% year over year.
