Hustle
Hustle is a San Francisco-based text and mobile messaging platform built for one-to-one conversations at scale. Founded in 2014, it lets organizations reach supporters, students, members and voters through peer-to-peer texting, broadcast SMS, a voice dialer and in-message video - with humans, not autodialers, pressing send. Widely used by political campaigns, nonprofits, higher-education fundraising teams and labor unions, Hustle has powered more than a billion messages and, since April 2026, is independent and employee-owned.
American Bankers Association
The American Bankers Association (ABA) is the largest financial trade group in the United States, representing banks of every size and charter in Washington. Founded in 1875 in the wake of the Panic of 1873, ABA lobbies on behalf of the roughly $24 trillion U.S. banking industry and provides its members with professional certifications, training schools, research, conferences and community. Its members range from small community banks to the largest money-center institutions and together account for the overwhelming majority of the industry's assets and employees.
Biotechnology Innovation Organization
The Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) is the world's largest trade association for the biotech industry, representing more than 1,000 companies, research institutions and state and regional bio centers across the United States and 30-plus countries. Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., BIO lobbies on drug pricing, intellectual property, regulation and biosecurity, and runs the BIO International Convention - the industry's flagship annual dealmaking and networking event. Led since 2024 by President and CEO John F. Crowley, a rare-disease entrepreneur whose own children have Pompe disease, BIO's stated mission is to advance a 'bio revolution' that cures patients, protects the climate and nourishes humanity.
Generation Citizen
Generation Citizen is a national nonprofit that brings action-oriented civics education into middle and high school classrooms. Founded as a 2008 student project at Brown University, it partners with schools and districts to run a project-based curriculum in which students identify a local issue, research it, and take real civic action - then present their work at community 'Civics Day' showcases. The organization also advocates for state and federal policy that funds equitable civic learning. It has reached more than 250,000 students and, in recent years, serves roughly 25,000 students annually across 150+ schools in eight states.
Rise
Rise is a civil rights nonprofit that teaches ordinary people how to write and pass their own laws. Founded in 2014 by Amanda Nguyen after her own experience with a broken rape-kit system, Rise wrote and passed the federal Sexual Assault Survivors' Rights Act unanimously through Congress, then scaled the model into state laws, a landmark UN resolution, and Rise Justice Labs - an accelerator that trains survivors and allies to turn personal pain into passed legislation.
