The jobsite runs on paper no more. Novade's mobile platform turns quality checks, safety inspections and site diaries into data that reaches the boardroom.
Construction has always generated an enormous amount of information - inspections passed, defects found, permits issued, materials poured - and for decades most of it lived on clipboards, in email, or in a foreman's head. Novade Solutions exists to move that record onto a phone.
Founded in Singapore in 2014, Novade builds smart field management software for the building and infrastructure industry. Its mobile-first platform digitizes and automates the processes that happen on a construction site every day: quality controls and inspection-and-test plans, safety inspections and permits to work, site diaries and progress reports, defect rectification, workforce coordination and equipment maintenance.
The pitch is deceptively simple. A site engineer opens the app, fills in the same checklist they always would, attaches a photo, and taps submit. Behind that tap, Novade timestamps the entry, routes it to the right approver, links it to a drawing or asset, and rolls it into analytics a project director can read from an office hundreds of kilometres away. The company sums it up in its own tagline: "From jobsites to boardrooms, we empower field operations."
That connective tissue - field to boardroom - is the whole product. Novade isn't trying to replace the crew's judgement; it is trying to make sure the crew's work becomes a durable, searchable, analysable record instead of evaporating at the end of a shift.

Novade's customers sit across the full construction value chain. General contractors and specialist trade contractors use it to run quality and safety on active sites. Real estate developers and owners use it to hold their contractors to a standard and to keep an audit trail. Home builders use it for handover and defect management. And government departments - notably several in the Hong Kong SAR - have adopted it for quality, safety, MiC and Digital Works Supervision System (DWSS) work.
The problem underneath all of them is the same: on a large project, no single person can see everything, and by the time bad information surfaces - a missed inspection, an unlogged near-miss, a defect caught at handover - it is expensive to fix. Novade's answer is to capture the field event the moment it happens, so a safety incident becomes a signal rather than a surprise, and a punch list becomes a live workflow rather than a stack of paper.
Novade sells one platform at two scales, wrapped in AI and integrations. The modules below plug into a configurable forms engine, so teams can build their own checklists and automations rather than bending their process to fit the software.
The full digital construction platform: quality, safety, progress, site diaries, people and assets - deployed at over 10,000 sites, with analytics and AI on top.
A lightweight field app for small and medium projects. Available to download online and free for up to five users - an unusual on-ramp in enterprise contech.
Turns a million monthly field processes into automated insights, reporting and decision support.
Connectors and an integration hub that link Novade with Procore, Autodesk and ERP systems - so contractors run their existing stack alongside it.
The construction software market is crowded at the top with broad, office-side project management suites - Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud - and busy at the edges with single-purpose snagging apps like SnagR and Fieldwire. Novade sits deliberately in between: deeper than a snagging tool, more field-focused than a document-and-budget platform.
Its differentiation is depth and configurability in the field processes that others treat as a side feature - quality, safety and the daily site record - built by a team that knows the industry. Founder Denis Branthonne spent 12 years at Autodesk before starting Novade, and that pedigree shows in an important strategic choice: Novade doesn't fight Procore, it integrates with it. Many top contractors run both, and Novade Connect is built to make that pairing work.
That positioning - the field-operations layer that feeds the office layer - is where Novade fits in the market, and why a company most people have never heard of ended up running the digital paper trail on projects across Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Denis Branthonne founded Novade in 2014 after a career built for exactly this problem. He spent 12 years at Autodesk - latterly as a VP focused on emerging markets and APAC - watching the design side of construction go fully digital while the field stayed stubbornly analogue. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and an engineering diploma from ENSTA Paris.
Under the hood, Novade is a modern software company: the team builds with Flutter and Dart on mobile, Node.js and NestJS with TypeScript and GraphQL on the server, and PostgreSQL for data - a stack that matches its ambition to be the data layer for the jobsite.

Not exactly. Many top contractors run both; Novade focuses on field processes while Procore handles office-side project management, and Novade Connect integrates the two.
Novade raised a Series A (Wavemaker Partners, Enterprise Singapore) and a Series B in April 2020 co-led by SIG and Vulcan Capital. The amounts were not publicly disclosed.
