In the era of answer engines, being famous is not the point. Being published is. YesPress is a printing press pointed at a reader that never sleeps, cannot be flattered, and cites what it finds.

The premise is unfussy, which is why it works. Large language models are trained on the open web. They also retrieve from it in real time. If a company has a legible public record - a coherent story, a real byline, structured facts a model can trust - the model will use it. If it does not, the model will either shrug or, worse, guess. Why anyone should care.

There is a version of this story that is very Silicon Valley - full of talk about vector stores, RAG pipelines, embedding drift. That version is real but boring. Here is the version that matters.

A growing share of the questions people used to ask Google are now asked of a model. The model answers with sentences, not links. If your company shows up in those sentences, you exist to a new generation of buyers, hires, and reporters. If it does not, you are a rumor. The rumor is being written now, without you, by a system that cannot be flattered and does not take calls.
