Bryan Stuart
Bryan Stuart is the Chief Executive Officer and a director of Atavistik Bio, a Cambridge, Massachusetts biotechnology company building precision allosteric small molecule therapeutics on its Atavistik Metabolite-Protein Screening (AMPS) platform. He joined in July 2023 after more than two decades leading biopharma companies, including roles as CEO of Fulcrum Therapeutics, Yarra Therapeutics, and Kastle Therapeutics. Under his leadership Atavistik has raised a $120 million Series B in December 2025, later extended to $160 million, to advance its lead programs for hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia and myeloproliferative neoplasms toward the clinic.
Indi Molecular
Indi Molecular is a Culver City, California biotech developing a synthetic alternative to antibodies called Protein Catalyzed Capture (PCC) agents - small, stable cyclic peptides built with click chemistry that bind protein targets with antibody-like specificity while behaving like small-molecule drugs. Spun out of Caltech chemist James Heath's lab in 2013, the company applies its platform to targeted oncology therapeutics and PET imaging agents, aiming to reach targets long considered undruggable, including KRAS G12D pancreatic cancer and ovarian cancer.
Stablix, Inc.
Stablix, Inc. is a preclinical biopharmaceutical company pioneering targeted protein stabilization (TPS), a new therapeutic modality that does the opposite of protein degraders. Its RESTORE platform generates heterobifunctional small molecules called RESTORACs that recruit deubiquitinase enzymes (DUBs) to selectively remove ubiquitin from disease-relevant proteins, restoring deficient proteins to therapeutic levels or correcting aberrant protein function. Co-located in New York City and Boston and founded on science from Columbia University, Stablix has raised roughly $78M and is developing programs in cancer, rare diseases and immunological disorders, including a strategic collaboration with Vertex Pharmaceuticals.
Eddine Saiah
Eddine Saiah, Ph.D., is the CEO and President of Stablix, a preclinical biotechnology company pioneering targeted protein stabilization (TPS) as a new class of small-molecule medicines. A medicinal chemist and drug hunter with more than 25 years of experience, he joined Stablix as Chief Scientific Officer in 2022 and moved into the chief executive role in 2025. His career spans big pharma research leadership at Pfizer and Wyeth, an entrepreneur-in-residence stint at Atlas Venture, and CSO duties at Navitor Pharmaceuticals. He is a co-inventor and author on more than 120 patents and publications, and has helped advance more than a dozen small-molecule candidates into clinical trials.
Scott Greenberg
Scott Greenberg is the Chief Business Officer of Nura Bio, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company in South San Francisco building small-molecule drugs to stop nerves from dying. He joined in February 2025 to steer business development and corporate strategy as the company pushes its lead SARM1 inhibitor, NB-4746, into the clinic. He arrives with more than two decades crossing the line between finance and biology - a Goldman Sachs banking start, more than a decade at Celgene, an operations leadership role at Roivant Sciences, and a stint as Chief Operating Officer at Aro Biotherapeutics. He studied both Finance and the Biological Basis of Behavior at the University of Pennsylvania before an MBA at Harvard.
CaaMTech
CaaMTech is an Issaquah, Washington drug discovery company building patentable, psychedelic-inspired medicines. Founded in 2016 by chemist and patent attorney Andrew Chadeayne, it has synthesized and characterized a large library of novel tryptamines, solved crystal structures of compounds like 4-AcO-DMT and norpsilocin, and filed more than 100 patent applications. The company studies the 'entourage effect' in magic mushrooms to engineer compounds that keep the benefits while reducing side effects, and in 2021 raised a $22M Series A to push lead candidates toward human trials.
DeepCure
DeepCure is a Boston-based biotech that uses AI, physics-based simulation, and automated robotic chemistry to design novel small-molecule drugs for hard-to-treat immune and inflammatory diseases. Founded in 2018 by MIT Media Lab researchers, the company pairs deep learning with a proprietary chemical database of up to 10^18 synthesizable compounds and an in-house automated wet lab, aiming to turn AI-generated molecules into real, testable, first-in-class therapies.
Light Horse Therapeutics
Light Horse Therapeutics is a San Diego biotech founded in 2023 that flips traditional drug discovery on its head. Using a proprietary 'function-first' platform that pairs systematic CRISPR-based gene editing with chemical biology, the company first pinpoints which exact regions of a disease-driving protein are functionally critical, then hunts for small molecules that hit those precise sites. Launched out of Versant Ventures' Inception Discovery Engine with a $62M Series A and a Novartis collaboration worth up to $1 billion in milestones, Light Horse is targeting some of oncology's toughest, historically 'undruggable' proteins.
Wenqing Yao
Wenqing Yao is the founder and CEO of Synnovation Therapeutics, a precision-oncology biotech in Wilmington, Delaware. A medicinal chemist by training, he spent nearly two decades at Incyte building and leading its discovery chemistry engine, a stretch that produced five FDA-approved drugs including Jakafi. In 2021 he left to start Synnovation, which launched publicly in January 2024 with a $102 million Series A to advance best-in-class small molecules against highly validated targets, led by a CNS-penetrant, isoform-selective PARP1 inhibitor and a mutant-selective PI3K-alpha inhibitor.
Vishwanath Lingappa
Vishwanath Lingappa is the CEO and CTO of Prosetta Biosciences, a San Francisco-based biotechnology company he founded in 2003 after 22 years as a faculty member at UCSF. An MD-PhD with a doctorate from The Rockefeller University under Nobel laureate Gunter Blobel, Lingappa developed a proprietary Cell-Free Protein Synthesis System (CFPSS) drug discovery platform that targets transient multi-protein complexes - a class of drug targets largely ignored by traditional pharma. His company is pursuing small-molecule therapeutics across neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer's, ALS, Parkinson's), oncology, and infectious diseases (COVID-19, HIV, influenza), and won an ARPA-H Dash competition for a pan-cancer drug candidate. With over 157 publications and 12,800+ citations, Lingappa bridges rigorous academia with commercial biotech ambition.
