Takeshi Homma
Takeshi (Ted) Homma is the founder and CEO of HOMMA Group, a Palo Alto smart-home designer, developer and builder he started in 2016. Descended from a Japanese family with fifteen generations in the building trades, he spent years at Sony and Rakuten before setting out to build what he calls a 'housing version of Tesla' - turnkey homes with proprietary, AI-driven technology woven into modern architecture. HOMMA has delivered pre-configured smart-home communities in Portland and proof-of-concept units in Boston, and partnered with a Mitsubishi Corporation subsidiary to scale the idea.
Timothy Cocaro
Timothy Cocaro is the founder and CEO of Canibuild, an AI-powered instant site feasibility platform that lets builders and homeowners check in seconds whether a house, granny flat, pool or shed can go on a block of land - collapsing weeks of surveying, drafting and estimating into a single click. A builder by trade with a computer science degree from the University of Sydney, Cocaro spent two decades running RESCON Builders, Australia's largest dedicated granny-flat company, before turning his own construction frustrations into software in 2019. Canibuild raised an AUD 8 million Series A led by EVP in 2022, grew to thousands of daily users across Australia, New Zealand and the United States, and was named #1 in Real Estate at the Google Maps Platform Awards 2025.
Salman Ahmad
Salman Ahmad is the co-founder and CEO of Mosaic, a Phoenix-based, tech-enabled general contractor reinventing how build-to-rent homes get planned and built. He grew up in a construction household, then stacked degrees in computer science from Arizona State, Stanford, and a PhD from MIT before deciding the most interesting unsolved software problem was the most analog industry there is: pouring foundations and framing walls. Mosaic's software platform, Mosaic Hub, coordinates contractors, schedules, and payments so homebuilders can offload construction the way startups offloaded servers to AWS.
Jiayue He
Jiayue 'Jenny' He is the Founder and CEO of Ergeon, a technology-enabled residential outdoor construction company that raised $40M in a Series B round in 2022. A Princeton Ph.D. and top-ranked University of Toronto engineering graduate, she spent seven years at McKinsey before pivoting to build one of the most operationally sophisticated home improvement startups in the U.S. - one that runs a distributed workforce across 40+ countries while delivering fence, artificial grass, deck, and concrete installations to tens of thousands of homeowners nationwide.
