Caroline Shleifer
Caroline Shleifer is the founder and CEO of RegASK, a Singapore-based regtech company that pairs an AI engine built for regulatory content with a global network of 1,800+ subject matter experts. A pharmacist and scientist by training with a PharmD-PhD in medical physics from the University of Paris V, she spent years leading regulatory and scientific affairs across Asia Pacific at SPRIM before founding RegASK in 2018 to bring regulatory work into the AI era.
Karen Chu
Karen Chu is the founder and CEO of HiRO (Harvest Integrated Research Organization), a boutique global contract research organization that bridges clinical trials between Asia, the US, and Europe. A PharmD who spent nearly two decades at Parexel running global clinical operations across 50-plus countries, she launched HiRO in 2020 to help Asian biotechs run trials abroad and Western firms run trials in Asia. Under her leadership the company has expanded through acquisitions including Courante Oncology in the US and PharmaSols in Australia and New Zealand, while positioning itself as global in reach but deliberately mid-sized in ambition.
Yoona Kim
Yoona Kim is the co-founder and CEO of Arine, a San Francisco medication intelligence company she started in 2017 with CTO Penjit 'Boom' Moorhead. A pharmacist and health economist by training, Kim built Arine to attack one of medicine's least glamorous and most expensive problems: people getting the wrong drugs, the wrong doses, and the wrong combinations. Arine's AI platform now touches more than 25 million lives across 40-plus health plan clients, and the company says its work has cut hospitalizations by over 40% for clients while shaving care costs by double digits.
