Cameron Howieson
Cameron Howieson is the co-founder and CEO of Opencare, a Toronto-based digital health company that connects patients with a curated network of top-rated dentists across North America. A computer engineer by training, he co-founded the stock-research startup Vuru (acquired by Wave Accounting in 2012) before helping build Opencare, where he moved from CTO to COO to CEO. His work centers on making preventive dental care transparent, convenient and comfortable for patients.
Danny Sigurdson
Danny Sigurdson is the founder and CEO of Courier Health, a New York-based technology company that builds a purpose-built patient CRM and experience platform for life sciences companies. After more than a decade in enterprise software - including a role as VP of Sales at ActionIQ and client leadership at Applied Predictive Technologies - he started Courier Health in 2020 to close the gap between specialty medicine approvals and the patients who never start or stay on treatment. The company has raised $70.5M to date, most recently a $50M Series B led by Oak HC/FT.
Samira Daswani
Samira Daswani is the founder and CEO of Manta Cares, a San Francisco healthtech company building clinically trusted, AI-enabled tools that help cancer patients and caregivers navigate the maze of treatment. A bioengineer trained at MIT and Wellesley with a master's in healthcare design from Stanford, she spent her early career at McKinsey and as VP of Product at diagnostics company Visby Medical before launching Manta Cares in 2022. The company raised an oversubscribed $5.4M seed round led by Pear VC and Sozo Ventures and now serves thousands of users. She also hosts the podcast 'Patient from Hell.'
Aaron Patzer
Aaron Patzer is the founder and CEO of Vital, an AI-driven software company that helps hospitals cut emergency-room wait times, flag high-risk patients, and translate medical jargon into plain English. He first made his name building Mint.com, the free personal-finance app he started in 2006 and sold to Intuit for $170 million just two-plus years later. An engineer with degrees from Duke and Princeton, Patzer has spent his career turning intimidating, regulation-heavy industries into experiences ordinary people can actually understand - first money, now medicine.
Alamin Uddin
Alamin Uddin is the co-founder and CEO of NexHealth, the patient experience and health-records integration platform he started in 2017 after a stint as a front-desk receptionist in a Bronx clinic showed him how analog healthcare really is. He runs the company from San Francisco, where it crossed a $1B valuation in its 2022 Series C.
