Wayco is a New York startup building an AI operator for med-legal cases - the tangle of medical treatment, records, and billing that sits behind every personal injury and accident claim. Its software answers intake calls, triages cases, matches injured patients to the right medical providers, reviews thousands of pages of records, and produces case summaries, turning work that took human case managers days into minutes. Founded in 2025 by Iqbol Temirkhojaev and backed by Y Combinator's Winter 2026 batch, Wayco sells to personal injury and mass tort law firms.
Citizen Health
Citizen Health is a San Francisco-based AI health platform built for people living with rare and complex conditions. It pulls a patient's fragmented medical records into one place, turns them into a structured, queryable dataset, and layers on an AI advocate plus a peer community so patients, families, and clinicians can ask plain-language questions and find the next best step. Consenting patient data also powers research for pharmaceutical partners. The company grew out of Ciitizen, the patient-data startup acquired by Invitae, and relaunched independently in December 2023.
SurgiQuality
SurgiQuality is a Rockville, Maryland health-tech company built by a practicing surgeon to fix the information gap patients face when they are told they need an operation. Its platform brings medical records and imaging to the cloud, routes them to a network of 45,000+ surgeons for independent written opinions, and uses proprietary AI (SurgiGPT) to score surgeons on risk-adjusted outcomes pulled from de-identified EMR data. The goal: help patients pick the right surgeon and the right approach, avoid unnecessary surgery, and help employers lower the cost of surgical benefits.
