He found a market hiding in plain sight: thousands of campus outlets, millions of hard-to-reach students, and an advertising system still powered by phone calls. His fix began at the editor's desk.
Justin Kassan is the Chief Marketing Officer of Honeylove, the Los Angeles-based sculptwear and intimates brand founded by musician Betsie Larkin. He joined in 2025 after roughly a decade spent inside some of the most recognizable direct-to-consumer brands in America: he ran paid social acquisition at Dollar Shave Club, climbed from Director of Acquisition to VP of Growth at the watch brand MVMT, and served as Vice President of Media at Fabletics from 2023 to 2025. His specialty is the unglamorous engine room of modern retail - media buying, attribution, creative testing and the arithmetic of turning ad spend into repeat customers. He studied Environmental Science at UC Santa Barbara before ending up, improbably, in the business of compression panels and wireless bras.
Dave Morgan is the founder and CEO of Simulmedia, a New York adtech company that pioneered data-driven linear TV advertising and now runs the cross-channel TV+ platform, the Skybeam self-serve CTV buying tool, and the PlayerWON in-game video ad network. A lawyer turned three-time adtech founder, he earlier built Real Media (a predecessor of 24/7 Real Media, sold to WPP for $649 million) and TACODA (a behavioral targeting pioneer acquired by AOL for $275 million in 2007). Morgan returned to Simulmedia's CEO seat in October 2024 to chase the connected-TV opportunity, and he is a long-running MediaPost columnist known for his '96/4' rule about the gap between CTV viewership and CTV ad dollars.

Jake Vadeboncoeur is the founder and CEO of MediaGlobe, a Boston-based paid media facilitator that gives serious advertisers whitelisted, enterprise-class ad accounts on Meta, Google, and TikTok. The company positions itself as a partner for high-spend buyers in ecommerce, affiliate marketing, and lead generation, promising lower CPMs and no arbitrary spend caps. A Merrimack College business graduate who cut his teeth in media buying, Vadeboncoeur built MediaGlobe into a venture-backed operation that raised a Series A in 2023 and reports serving well over a thousand clients.
