Founded in 2021 and incubated by ForgePoint Capital, it positions itself as a "modern MSSP" - consolidating endpoint, email, identity, SOC/SIEM, security awareness training, mobile protection, and even cyber insurance under one vendor and one contract, so customers don't have to assemble and manage a stack of point products themselves.

CyFlare is a U.S.-based Managed Security Service Provider that runs cybersecurity operations on behalf of MSPs, resellers and technology vendors. Through its CyFlare ONE platform and a 24/7 Open-XDR-enabled Security Operations Center, the company delivers managed detection and response, managed EDR, XDR, vulnerability management, managed email security and compliance support, letting channel partners offer enterprise-grade security to their clients without building an in-house SOC.

An engineer by training with more than two decades in networking and cybersecurity, McCrady previously ran Symantec's global MSSP business and built out FireEye's Global MSSP and System Integrator business before launching SolCyber to bring enterprise-grade managed security to the mid-market.

Founded in 2017 by James Rosenthal and Thomas Glocer, the company serves enterprises and governments worldwide and has raised roughly $695M to date.

By bundling underwriting with active risk management, the company has positioned itself as both insurer and security partner for small and mid-sized businesses.

Blackpoint Cyber is a Denver-based managed detection and response (MDR) company built by former NSA cyber operations experts who decided the best way to defend businesses was to think like the attackers they used to be.
