Samir Raiyani is the CEO and founder of IP Author, a Fremont, California legal-technology company using generative AI and large language models to automate patent drafting, office-action responses, prior-art search and evidence-of-use analysis for patent attorneys and corporate IP teams. A Stanford-trained computer scientist and serial entrepreneur, he previously founded and ran Dolcera, one of the world's largest patent-analytics firms, was a Director at SAP Research in Palo Alto, and founded the healthcare startup MediSpark. With more than a dozen patent applications to his name, Raiyani has spent two decades at the intersection of intellectual property and software, and now positions IP Author as a human-centered AI co-pilot that cuts patent drafting time by 40-60% while keeping the attorney in control.
Alex Sappington
Alex Sappington is the Co-CEO of Page Vault, the legal web-capture company whose software turns a tweet, a TikTok, or a vanishing webpage into court-admissible evidence. He bought the business in 2022 alongside his Stanford classmate Luke Suydam through a search fund, taking the wheel from founder Jeffrey Eschbach. Under their shared leadership Page Vault has landed on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies three years running. A Princeton economist turned BCG consultant turned operator, Sappington talks evidence law at the dinner table too - his spouse is a federal prosecutor.
John Haddock
John Haddock is the Chief Business Officer at Harvey, the $5 billion AI platform purpose-built for the legal industry. He joined in May 2025 after a decade at Stripe, where he scaled enterprise sales and led the Banking-as-a-Service division. A Stanford JD/MBA with roots in Big Law and a courtroom clerkship, Haddock now oversees a 50-person team of former Big Law lawyers helping the world's top firms embed AI into their daily workflows — from contract review to litigation briefs.
