SafeinHome
SafeinHome is a remote supports company that helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and older adults live more independently. It pairs a system of discreet home sensors and a two-way tablet with trained staff available around the clock, so individuals get reminders, check-ins and real-time help through the day and night without a caregiver physically present at all times. The service is delivered as a Medicaid Home and Community-Based Service (HCBS) across 17 states, aiming to cut per-hour support costs while preserving each person's dignity and autonomy.
ATDev
ATDev (Assistive Technology Development, Inc.) is a UC Berkeley spinout building an ecosystem of robotic devices that help people stay independent. Its flagship product, Reflex, is a smart, under-5-pound robotic knee brace that delivers personalized, telehealth-enabled physical therapy at home and streams progress data back to clinicians. Founded by engineer Todd Roberts and disability-rights advocate Owen Kent, the company designs 'for users, by users' and is scaling after a $3M seed round while also serving as a subcontractor on a $41M ARPA-H robotic mobility program.
Todd Roberts
Todd Roberts is the CEO and co-founder of ATDev (Assistive Technology Development, Inc.), a robotics company building an ecosystem of devices that help people stay independent regardless of physical ability. A mechanical engineer trained at Northeastern and UC Berkeley, where he researched exoskeletons, Roberts met his co-founder Owen Kent through a Craigslist housing ad and discovered they shared both a roof and a biomechanics class. Their company's first product, Reflex, is a sub-five-pound at-home knee rehabilitation robot that pairs guided exercises with remote clinician monitoring. ATDev raised a $3M seed round in October 2025 and is a partner in the $41M ARPA-H RAMMP robotic mobility initiative.

Agemark Senior Living is a family-owned operator of senior living communities founded in 1983 by real estate partners Richard Westin and Jesse Pittore. From a single converted hotel in Vancouver, Washington, the company has grown to own or manage 28 communities across six states, offering independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing. Guided by its in-house LifeCycles wellness philosophy, Agemark aims to reframe aging and end-of-life as stages to be celebrated, and has been certified a Great Place to Work for seven consecutive years.
