Christopher Gosline
Christopher Gosline was the co-founder and first CEO of SYSO Technologies, a Boston company that turns passive solar, wind, and battery projects into active participants in wholesale power markets. Before SYSO, he ran a $100M+ software business at demand-response pioneer EnerNOC and helped build BlueWave Solar as a senior vice president. Trained in geographic information systems and energy policy, he spent more than two decades pushing toward a grid that runs without fossil fuels, and was known as much for the team he built as for the funding rounds he closed.
Shwan Lamei
Shwan Lamei is co-founder and CEO of Emulate Energy, a Lund- and Boston-based software company that turns everyday household devices - heat pumps, EV chargers, home batteries, solar inverters - into a coordinated 'virtual battery' that utilities can dispatch on flexibility and balancing markets. Trained as an industrial engineer at Lund University, he spent 15 years in industrial B2B sales and corporate development at SWEP and Dover before starting Emulate in 2020 with a childhood friend whose MIT postdoctoral research became the technical seed of the company. In April 2025 Emulate closed a EUR 5M Series A led by Helen Ventures to scale its DER orchestration platform across Scandinavia, the DACH region and the United States.
Ryan Li
Ryan Li is the co-founder and CEO of Revert Technologies, a climate-tech company building AI-powered smart power adapters that hunt down 'phantom load' - the electricity devices waste while switched off. A chemical engineer turned energy operator, Li drilled deep-sea wells for Shell, designed green hydrogen plants, and ran Alibaba's US SMB business before building hardware in Maine that he describes as 'the easiest energy decision you'll ever make.' His company measures its own success in one unit: tons of CO2 removed.
Stephanie Hendricks
Stephanie Hendricks is the co-founder and CEO of AGent Energy (formerly AiGent), a Houston-based energy technology company that uses AI to turn idle backup generators into dispatchable grid resources. A former Naval Warfare Intelligence officer with top-secret clearance and the ex-COO of demand-response leader Voltus, she is building software that aggregates and monetizes the roughly 185 GW of underutilized backup generation sitting across American commercial, industrial, and data-center sites. In August 2025 the company raised a $6M seed round led by Zero Infinity Partners and CIV.
Sanjiv Sanghavi
Sanjiv Sanghavi is the co-founder and CEO of Texture, a New York company building an operating system for the distributed energy grid that ingests data from batteries, solar, EVs, chargers and smart devices and lets utilities act on it in real time. He co-founded ClassPass before fitness was a category, ran product as CPO at the supply-side energy giant Arcadia, and now wires together a fragmented grid that was built to push power one direction and is being asked to do the opposite. Texture has raised roughly $23M and counts more than 50 OEM integrations including Tesla, FranklinWH and SolarEdge.
Zach Robin
Zach Robin is the CEO of Recurve, a San Francisco-based clean energy software company building the leading demand-side platform for utilities, aggregators, and implementers. A computer scientist turned energy entrepreneur, Zach has spent two decades at the intersection of software and grid modernization — from scaling product at EnerNOC through its Enel acquisition, to co-founding Hatch Data and growing it into North America's top real estate decarbonization platform (acquired by Measurabl), to now leading Recurve's FLEX platform, which manages 54 million meters nationwide and powers performance-based clean energy programs across the country.
Arch Rao
Arch Rao is the Founder and CEO of SPAN, a San Francisco-based clean energy hardware company that reinvented the home electrical panel. A Stanford-trained mechanical engineer and former Tesla Energy leader who helped launch Powerwall, Powerpack, and SolarCity products, Rao founded SPAN in 2018 with a singular mission: rapidly decarbonize American homes by making the century-old electrical panel smart. SPAN's intelligent panels enable circuit-level control, real-time energy monitoring, solar and battery integration, and grid demand response - turning a neglected utility box into the command center for home electrification. With over $522M in total funding and backing from Wellington Management, Fifth Wall, Robert Downey Jr.'s FootPrint Coalition, and Amazon's Alexa Fund, SPAN is building the grid-edge infrastructure layer for the coming decades of home electrification.
Sam D'Amico
Sam D'Amico is the founder and CEO of Impulse Labs, a San Francisco-based startup building the world's most powerful and precise home appliances. A Stanford-trained electrical engineer who cut his teeth writing battery firmware for a solar car, then spent a decade building AR/VR hardware at Google Glass, Oculus, and Meta, D'Amico founded Impulse in 2021 after eating a pizza in 45 seconds at a wood-fired restaurant in Tokyo and deciding he needed to bring that power home. The result: a $5,999 battery-integrated induction cooktop that plugs into a standard outlet, boils a liter of water in under 40 seconds, and moonlights as a distributed grid storage node. Impulse has raised $25 million from Lux Capital, Fifth Wall, Lachy Groom, and Construct Capital.
