Michael Prokopis is the CEO of DARVIS, a Houston-based AI and computer vision company that gives hospitals real-time visibility into their inventory. A former Navy Surface Warfare Officer and Gulf War veteran turned healthcare supply chain executive, he spent 25+ years managing more than $3.2 billion in spend and driving $360M+ in savings at institutions including MD Anderson Cancer Center and Steward Health Care before crossing to the other side of the table to run the technology company he once wanted to buy from.
Moataz Rashad
Moataz Rashad is the founder and CEO of DeepVu, a San Ramon, California startup building autonomous, shock-resilient supply chain planning. He pioneers a category he calls autonomous resilient planning: generative AI planning agents trained on digital twins that simulate disruptions from commodity spikes to river droughts. A Stanford-trained engineer and PhD dropout, Moataz spent two decades architecting software at Samsung, Conexant, Mindspeed and Sony Mobile before founding the computer-vision ecommerce startup Vufind, which evolved into DeepVu. He describes himself as an AI and computer-vision hacker, a Mediterranean wisdom-seeker, a space enthusiast, and a keeper of diamond doves and finches.
Joel Beal
Joel Beal is the CEO and co-founder of Alloy.ai, a demand and inventory control tower that helps consumer goods brands like Bic, Bosch, Crayola and Ferrero turn messy retailer data into daily, SKU-store-level decisions. A would-be economics academic who walked away from a Stanford PhD because it felt too theoretical, Beal built a career in applied data science at Applied Predictive Technologies and helped scale fintech Addepar from pre-revenue to $300B in assets before founding Alloy in 2016. The idea came from his sister, who spent her weeks manually stitching together retailer spreadsheets for a luxury shoe brand.
