Jay Lee Wants Marketing and Revenue to Speak the Same Language
The Five9 growth chief trained as an engineer, learned marketing inside payments giants, and now runs a job that most companies keep in two separate offices.
Brian Silverstein
Brian Silverstein is the founder and CEO of MirrorTab, a San Francisco cybersecurity company that treats the browser as the new battleground and tries to take it off the table entirely. Using server-side isolation, MirrorTab strips the client-side attack surface so malware, malicious extensions, and bots never touch the real code, data, or APIs behind a web session. Before MirrorTab he was an early co-founder and CTO of Honey, the shopping-rewards browser extension acquired by PayPal, and an engineer at Apple, Nest, Broadcom, and Freescale. A Cornell-trained electrical engineer with eight patents, he raised an $8.5M seed in 2025 led by Valley Capital Partners with GV and others.
Will Bruey
Will Bruey is the co-founder and CEO of Varda Space Industries, a company building autonomous capsules that manufacture pharmaceuticals in orbit and then fly them back to Earth. A former SpaceX avionics engineer who flew Dragon on eight missions to the International Space Station, Bruey now runs the first company to manufacture a drug in space and successfully return it. His pitch is deliberately unglamorous: make space manufacturing routine enough to be boring, then build the supply chain that follows.
Benjamin Arnold
Benjamin Arnold is the co-founder and CEO of COR Medical Ventures, a Solana Beach medical-device venture studio that partners with surgeon-inventors and corporations to push the next generation of orthopedic and spine devices to market. A Cornell-trained engineer who has shepherded more than 25 devices to launch, he sits at the 'center of rotation' the company is named for, running a portfolio of roughly a dozen companies spanning surgical robotics, spinal fixation, fracture hardware, and wearable rehab tech.
Cheryl Sew Hoy
Cheryl Sew Hoy is a serial entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of Tiny Health, an Austin-based microbiome science company that raised an $8.5M Series A in 2024. Born in Malaysia and trained as an engineer at Cornell, she sold her startup Reclip.It to Walmart Labs in 2013, then was recruited to run MaGIC, Malaysia's national innovation agency. She co-founded the #MovingForward campaign for diversity in venture capital and was named one of Time's 2017 Silence Breakers, the magazine's Person of the Year.
John Kawola
John Kawola is a 3D printing industry veteran who has spent nearly three decades turning niche additive-manufacturing technologies into real businesses. He led Z Corporation through the dawn of full-color 3D printing, ran a farm-and-warehouse robotics company, built Ultimaker's North American footprint, and then took the helm of Boston Micro Fabrication (BMF), the company making 3D printers that resolve features down to two microns - smaller than a human hair. In 2025 he handed off the CEO role at BMF to become a strategic advisor.
Rabih Ramadi
Rabih Ramadi is the co-founder and CEO of Avantos, a New York fintech building an AI-native operating system for client onboarding and servicing inside banks, asset managers, and insurers. He spent a career on the inside of financial services - technology strategy at The Bank of New York, leading capital markets as a senior partner at KPMG, then helping build Unqork from the ground floor as a founding team member and chief revenue officer - before deciding the client-service layer of finance needed to be rebuilt around a knowledge graph and AI agents. In early 2026 Avantos raised a $25 million Series A led by Bessemer Venture Partners, bringing total funding to $35 million.
