Howard Rosen
Howard Rosen is the CEO and co-founder of Evident Vascular, a San Jose medtech startup building an AI-powered intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) platform for peripheral and coronary interventions. A 30-year cardiovascular device veteran, he spent 21 years at Boston Scientific before helping guide Intact Vascular and its spinout Vesper Medical through acquisitions by Philips. He launched Evident out of stealth in 2023 with a $35 million Series A led by Vensana Capital and closed a Series B in 2025. He is known for a disciplined 'go slow to go fast' company-building philosophy.
James Reinstein
James Reinstein is the President and CEO of Conformal Medical, a New Hampshire medical device company building next-generation left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) technology to reduce stroke risk in patients with atrial fibrillation. A three-decade medtech operator, he spent 17 years at Boston Scientific in commercial leadership across Asia, Europe and Latin America before running a string of device companies as CEO, including Cutera, Drawbridge Health, Aptus Endosystems and Saranas. Known for insisting that a device company think commercially from day one, he took the helm at Conformal in 2022 to guide its foam-based CLAAS system through pivotal trials toward market.
Mark Foster
Mark Foster is the president and CEO of CurvaFix, a Bellevue, Washington medical device company building curved intramedullary implants that follow the natural bend of the pelvis to repair fractures. He took the top job in July 2023, the same week the company closed a $39 million Series C led by MVM Partners, and his mandate is commercial scale: turning a novel, FDA-cleared implant into a nationally distributed product. Before CurvaFix he ran Trice Medical and led the U.S. sports medicine business at Smith & Nephew, part of roughly 24 years spent almost entirely inside orthopedics and medical devices.
Michael Onuscheck
Michael Onuscheck is CEO and Chairman of Presidio Medical, a San Mateo clinical-stage neuromodulation company developing an ultra-low-frequency waveform platform aimed at chronic pain. He joined in September 2021 after two years on the board, returning to neuromodulation after leading Alcon's global businesses and, earlier, Boston Scientific's Neuromodulation division.
Wendelin Maners
Wendelin Maners is the President and CEO of CSA Medical, the Lexington, Massachusetts medical-device company behind the RejuvenAir System, a liquid-nitrogen cryospray technology delivered by bronchoscope. A finance-trained dealmaker who spent years buying and licensing emerging technologies for Boston Scientific, Maners moved from the deal table to the operating chair, taking the top job at CSA Medical in December 2019 and steering the company through an oversubscribed $53 million Series D and a fully enrolled pivotal trial on the road to FDA approval.
