Sergey Savastiouk, Ph.D., is the founder and CEO of Tickeron, a Reno-based platform that pairs artificial intelligence with plain-language explanation to give self-directed investors and advisors trading signals, pattern recognition, and automated 'AI robots.' A former applied-mathematics professor at Santa Clara University with two prior startups behind him, he turned the losses of the 2008 crisis into a mission to hand retail investors the kind of algorithmic tools once reserved for institutions.
Jack Hoppin
Jack Hoppin is the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Ratio Therapeutics, a Boston-based biotech developing targeted radiopharmaceuticals for cancer. A mathematician by training with a PhD in applied mathematics, he previously co-founded the molecular imaging company Invicro and led Konica Minolta Precision Medicine. At Ratio he pairs with scientific co-founder John Babich to build fit-for-purpose radioligand therapies on the company's Trillium pharmacokinetic-modulation and Macropa chelation platforms, backed by investors including Bristol Myers Squibb and a partnership with Novartis.
Maor Farid
Maor Farid is the co-founder and CEO of Leo AI, the first AI copilot purpose-built for mechanical engineers. A former Captain in Israel's Unit 8200 intelligence corps and the youngest-ever PhD graduate from the Technion at age 24, he went on to do postdoctoral research at MIT as a Fulbright fellow, studying how to predict catastrophic failures in complex physical systems. He founded Leo AI in 2023 to build what he calls 'the most boring, unsexy AI' - a tool trained on more than a million vetted engineering sources that handles documentation, part searches and calculations so engineers can focus on design. Leo AI raised $9.7M and is used by teams at Toyota, HP, Mobileye, Philips and Scania.
Sahil Agarwal
Sahil Agarwal is the co-founder and CEO of Enkrypt AI, a Boston-based startup building a security and compliance control layer for enterprise generative AI. An applied mathematician with a PhD from Yale who once modeled the chaotic motion of Arctic sea ice, he now leads a team that red-teams large language models to find where they break - work that made headlines when Enkrypt published research showing DeepSeek-R1 was 11x more likely to generate harmful content than its rivals. He met co-founder Prashanth Harshangi during their PhD years at Yale, and together they raised a $2.35M seed round to make AI safe enough for Fortune 500 deployment.
Tim Novikoff
Tim Novikoff is the founder and CEO of Super Teacher, an AI tutoring app for elementary students that has reached roughly 20,000 families and public schools in New York, New Jersey, and Hawaii. A former NYC math teacher with a PhD in applied mathematics from Cornell, he co-authored a PNAS paper on the math of spaced repetition, built and sold the video-editing startup Fly Labs to Google in 2015, then worked on Google Photos and ran Google Colab before returning to education. David Lokshin
David Lokshin is the co-founder and CEO of Trace, an AI sports video company that places an autonomous camera on the sideline of youth games and hands each player a personalized highlight reel. He started the company in 2011 as AlpineReplay, a side project with his father Anatole, building GPS sensors that tracked skiers and snowboarders, then pivoted the same data-and-camera engine into team sports. A Harvard applied-math graduate who began his career trading FX options at Barclays, Lokshin describes Trace as 'the creator and keeper of memories.' The company has raised roughly $71.8M through a Series C and employs around 130 people from its Austin base.

Michael Vidne is a Columbia-trained applied mathematician turned biotech founder who has spent the last decade moving cancer medicine from the lab bench to the clinic. He led the diagnostics company NovellusDx as CEO, steered its pivot into the precision-oncology drug developer Fore Biotherapeutics, and now builds at the intersection of AI, data, and healthcare as founder and CEO of the stealth-mode Baobab Therapeutics. His through-line: using rigorous models of complex systems - first neurons firing in the retina, later signaling pathways inside a tumor cell - to make treatment decisions that actually fit the patient in front of you.
DJ Patil
DJ Patil is a General Partner at GreatPoint Ventures in San Francisco. Scott Clark
