Moonlight is a San Francisco seed-stage startup founded in 2023 by Stanford MBA and former Activision product manager Siran Jiang. It began as Moonlight Focus, a science-backed productivity and biohacking app built around ultradian rhythms, live focus tracking and flow-state interventions, and has since evolved toward Moonlight AI - a personalized learning platform that turns any topic into gamified, AI-generated quests for children. Across both incarnations, the through-line is the same: use behavioral science and playful mechanics to help people direct their attention on purpose.

SigIQ.ai is a Berkeley-based AI education company building personalized, one-on-one tutoring at the cost of computation. Founded in 2023 by Karttikeya Mangalam and Professor Kurt Keutzer out of the Berkeley AI Research Lab, the team ships two flagship products - PadhAI for India's UPSC civil service exam and EverTutor for the GRE - reaching hundreds of thousands of learners and famously scoring a record 175/200 on the UPSC prelims in under seven minutes.
Kyron Learning
Kyron Learning is an AI education company building an interactive video platform that turns recorded lessons into two-way tutoring conversations. Teachers record instruction once; the platform's conversational AI then understands what a learner types or says, detects misconceptions in real time, and serves the matching teacher response - approximating one-on-one tutoring at roughly a tenth of the cost of a live tutor. Founded in 2022 by former Google Cloud AI VP Rajen Sheth and Qwiklabs founder Enis Konuk, the public benefit company raised a $14.6M Series A in December 2023 to open its platform to any learning provider.
Rajen Sheth
Rajen Sheth is the CEO and co-founder of Kyron Learning, a public benefit company using AI to give every student access to high-quality one-on-one teaching. Before founding Kyron, he spent 17 years at Google, where he was the original product manager behind Google Apps (now Workspace), launched Chromebooks for Education, and rose to Vice President of Google Cloud AI and Industry Solutions. A Stanford-trained engineer who once pitched enterprise Gmail to Eric Schmidt and got turned down, he has built tools used by millions of businesses and hundreds of millions of students, then walked away from big tech to chase a teacher-shaped problem he has carried since sixth grade.

Through a hybrid network of virtual programs and physical learning centers across California, Nevada, and beyond, the company says more than 90% of its students advance a full grade level in 2-5 months with A/A+ results.
