Eighteen minutes to enter an order. At a Central Florida logistics company, that was the pace of a process running through an aging AS/400 system. The firm employed more than 600 people, yet its order workflow still demanded patient, repetitive human attention. Somewhere between the warehouse and the transportation software, information had become a queue.
System Soft Technologies describes its intervention in a logistics case study: build a new order portal, connect the existing systems through APIs, then add customer tracking and invoice automation. The company reports that processing fell from 18 minutes to eight. Its first usable release took 90 days.
That small unit of time is a useful way into this company. Technology consulting sounds abstract until somebody is waiting for an order to clear. System Soft sells the capacity to find that obstruction and work through it. Sometimes the missing piece is software. Sometimes it is a person.
- Technology delivery and technical staffing under one roof.
- Projects often build around systems customers already use.
- The useful buying question: who owns the work after delivery?
02Two doors into the same problem
The business has two principal entrances: technology services and talent services. Through the first come application development, cloud and DevOps, data and AI, cybersecurity, and managed support. Through the second come contract professionals, permanent hires, and contract-to-hire placements. A customer can buy help completing a project or help assembling the team that will complete it.
This puts System Soft at the intersection of a staffing supplier and an engineering consultancy. The combination offers a practical answer to a familiar management problem: a company may understand exactly what it wants to build while lacking the people to build it. The buyer still has to decide which responsibility to retain. That choice determines what success looks like, how the engagement is managed, and what the customer must be ready to do next.
Its published customer examples range from software businesses to logistics operators and healthcare networks. Banking, insurance, and government also appear in its service portfolio. These are organizations with existing systems, existing obligations, and little appetite for stopping daily operations while a new architecture arrives.

03The recruiting problem was a design problem
Consider another company account: a Tampa analytics software provider, with 250 employees, needed 17 engineering, DevOps, and product hires. Its recruiters were struggling to reach beyond the local market. Offer acceptance had fallen to 42%, while managers were spending time interviewing unsuitable applicants.
System Soft says it widened the search nationally and into nearshore markets, introduced scorecards for each role, and structured interviews. It reports 17 hires in 60 days, acceptance rising to 76%, and cost per hire falling 27% against the previous year. Five placements began as contract-to-hire and converted by day 90.
The interesting detail is the scorecard. More candidates alone would have given the managers a larger pile to sort. A shared definition of suitability changed how that pile was handled. The lesson a reader can borrow is pleasantly unglamorous: agree on the job before accelerating the search.
04Before the copilot, count the licenses
At a Tampa manufacturer, the company began with software housekeeping. A Microsoft audit identified 112 licenses that were underused, duplicated, or poorly matched to roles. The engagement then introduced internal assistants for procurement, support questions, and plant operations, alongside automated approval and receiving workflows.
The assistants lived inside familiar work environments, including Teams. System Soft’s manufacturing account puts total projected savings at $1.2 million across licensing, labor, and support overhead. Projected matters here: this is a forward-looking company estimate, rather than audited cash recovered. The account reports a 42% reduction in internal support tickets.
The sequence is revealing. Buying AI was preceded by examining what the business already owned. For a reader considering the same approach, the test is whether a workflow has a clear owner, usable internal information, and an outcome worth measuring. Without those conditions, an assistant could simply make existing confusion easier to summon.
Manufacturing case: licensing, labor, and support overhead. A forecast, not the project price.
05A longer history than the AI menu
System Soft was founded in 1999. Founder Sreedhar Veeramachaneni was discussing outsourced application development well before generative AI became a procurement category. In a 2020 VMblog interview, he separated the need for extra capacity from the need for skills a customer did not possess.
That distinction helps explain the breadth of the business. Its technology work has included reusable development components and low-code delivery, alongside incubation of Elysium Analytics in cybersecurity and Delphian Trading in financial analytics. The firm’s 2019 announcement named Caseglide, iProcedures, and Savills as new customers.
Caseglide supplied the memorable admission: “We struggled a lot trying to get our core application off the ground,” said CEO Wesley Todd in that announcement. He described earlier false starts and later planned to expand the System Soft relationship. The point of persuasion was a delivered application, rather than a new vocabulary for the problem.
Partnerships broadened the toolbox. A February 2021 agreement made System Soft a preferred North American partner for Datamatics’ automation suite. That included document processing and robotic process automation. It illustrates the integrator’s role: select and implement tools made by others, then connect them to a customer’s working reality.

06The handoff is part of the product
Security work shows the same emphasis on existing infrastructure. For a regional healthcare network, System Soft describes assessing applications and sensitive-data locations, testing phishing exposure, tightening privileged access, and adding Microsoft security controls. It reports a 63% reduction in critical vulnerabilities in 90 days. That is a specific remediation measure, not a promise that the organization became invulnerable.
For buyers, this is a services business with several ways to engage: defined project work, continuing operational support, and recruiting. Compare it with engineering consultancies for delivery responsibility, staffing firms for hiring reach, and an internal team for accumulated institutional knowledge. The useful comparison is who owns the result and who can maintain it afterward.
Veeramachaneni offered a surprisingly pointed buying rule in that VMblog interview: plan for the client to take over from the outset. Documentation, collaboration, and knowledge transfer should be requirements of the relationship. A fast implementation has limited value if the client remains unable to operate it.
The current site names Nag Nelluri as president and CEO, while its December 2025 hiring outlook emphasizes practical AI judgment and measurable output. Across different leadership eras and technology menus, the useful question stays remarkably ordinary: what is holding up the work, and what will it take to move it?
