A medical-equipment reseller has a peculiar software problem. A machine has a price, but the price depends on where it is going, what delivery costs, which currency changes hands and who is allowed to see the deal. Put that in a spreadsheet. Now ask several people to keep it correct. The spreadsheet begins to look less like a solution and more like a very patient source of trouble.
- RapidDev builds apps, internal systems and AI workflows for businesses.
- Its advantage is connecting the operational details: permissions, payments, data and handovers.
- Its own AI reset shows why a growing agency can still need a smaller team.
RapidDev’s case study describes precisely this situation at Medical Resale. The agency built a CRM with equipment listings, inventory tracking, bids and a calculator incorporating margins, delivery and currency changes. It supported English and Thai. The company reports roughly 60% less time processing deals. That is a vendor-reported result, but the underlying problem is wonderfully concrete: stop making people reconstruct the same transaction.
The awkward details are the product
Consider WorldVia, a travel business whose agents needed websites, training, subscriptions and customer records. According to RapidDev’s account, those activities were scattered across tools and logins. The agency connected them, including a website builder powered by Duda, CRM synchronization through HubSpot and an in-app learning academy. For an advisor trying to serve a traveler, the benefit is less administrative wandering.
Then there is Ferrodot, a marketplace for steel plates. Buyers and sellers needed to transact while protecting sensitive commercial information. RapidDev describes a 12-week Bubble build with four roles: buyer, seller, administrator and visitor. Public and private listings, verification and Korean localization were part of the assignment. The interesting engineering decision was deciding what each person should be permitted to know.
Administrator: moderate listings and facilitate private transactions.
These are customers with different markets and familiar frustrations. A general-purpose subscription tool may cover most of their needs. The remaining requirements can govern the entire operation. RapidDev occupies that space, selling the work of making software fit the business.
Grantify supplies another version of the same idea. RapidDev says it contributed to an existing Bubble application rather than replacing the whole product. Client information moves from assessment and funding matching into contracts, payments, AI-assisted grant drafting and expert review. Reusing the client record reduces repeated collection of the same facts. Human reviewers still edit the application, and clients approve the generated content. For a buyer considering AI, that sequence is worth copying: identify where information enters, where it gets reused and where a person must make the final decision.
A faster tool meets an agency invoice
The Massachusetts company was formed in 2021. Its founders are Matt Graham and Anna Gafurova; its public team page identifies them as CEO and COO. RapidDev grew around no-code development, particularly Bubble, and won Bubble’s community-voted Agency of the Year award for 2025.
That history matters because visual development changes what a small team can attempt. An agency can assemble interfaces and workflows without writing every component from scratch. RapidDev also offers conventional engineering, mobile development, AI implementation and growth services. Buyers can commission a SaaS platform, an operational dashboard or a customer-facing marketplace, then retain help with improvements.

What does that cost? RapidDev’s San Diego service page advertises fixed-price app packages between $13,000 and $25,000, depending on scope. The published process includes design approval, weekly deployed builds and a handover. Ongoing support is optional. These are defined packages, so a complicated integration deserves its own estimate.
A customer account supplies another reference point. In an August 2025 Clutch interview, NexRung founder Tom Dunn reported spending about $25,000-$26,000 on an education marketplace. He put the budget overrun at roughly 5%. He was describing an actual engagement, with testing still underway, rather than a universal price for an app.

Then the builder had to rebuild
In March 2026, Bubble’s podcast presented RapidDev as a bootstrapped, 220-person agency. By August, Graham was describing a difficult change. AI had put pressure on the model of billing hours and expanding headcount. In his account, the team went from 220 people to 160, with smaller delivery groups and more automation.

Inc. independently lists RapidDev at No. 573 on its 2026 Inc. 5000, with 613% three-year revenue growth. The ranking measures a period; the staffing reset describes a decision. Read together, they show why growth alone cannot tell a buyer how a company works today.
The toolbox changed too. In September, RapidDev announced Lovable Select Partner status with Build and Sell certifications. Its announcement also identifies limits: heavy legacy integrations or unusual compliance requirements can call for conventional development. Choosing the platform is part of the service, and it needs to happen before a contract hardens around the wrong assumptions.

Buy the acceptance criteria
Speed remains a claim worth testing. A mobile client’s original June 2025 Clutch review described a missed launch, revisions and an engagement stretching to week 40 after an initial 12-16-week scope. A July update was positive about the ongoing relationship. The sequence offers a useful purchasing lesson: a friendly team and a finished app do not make the calendar irrelevant.
Ask what counts as finished. Specify the user roles, the payment exceptions, the data migration and the person responsible for store approval. Require a working demonstration of the important journey. Agree who fixes defects after handover. Those questions turn an appealing delivery promise into something both parties can inspect.
RapidDev’s strongest proposition is the ability to carry that work across tools. Its competitors include specialist Bubble agencies, conventional consultancies, freelancers and an internal engineering team. A buyer should compare the same complete assignment across them. The first screen is easy to admire. The decisive test arrives when the price changes, a payment fails, or someone new needs access.
