GoPeak Is Selling the Web’s Oldest Currency: A Good Word

The Yerevan agency’s product is not really a backlink. It is patient, manual persuasion - sold five approvals at a time, measured over years, and newly aimed at the machines that answer before we click.

A backlink begins with a small social awkwardness. Someone owns a page. You would like that person to change it - to insert your company’s name, cite your guide, or publish an article you wrote. The code takes seconds. The permission may take weeks. GoPeak.io built a company around that awkward interval.

The agency is based in Yerevan, Armenia, and was founded in 2023 by Armen Tevikyan and Dmitri Sahakyan. Tevikyan came through technical SEO: crawling rules, site structure, and the machinery that helps Google understand a page. Sahakyan came through freelance link building and now manages content and staff development. Together they chose a business that sits precisely where software stops being useful. Tools can find prospects and measure authority. They cannot make an editor care.

GoPeak’s customers are mostly SaaS, B2B, technology, ecommerce, and agency teams. These companies often have decent products and competent content but little authority in crowded search results. GoPeak audits the site, studies competitors, maps keywords to target pages, plans anchor text, finds relevant publishers, writes when necessary, negotiates placements, checks indexation, and reports what went live. It sells contextual insertions into existing articles, new guest posts, content strategy, and - increasingly - brand mentions designed to appear on the pages AI systems use when assembling answers.

The first thing that failed was scale

Referral Rock already built links before hiring GoPeak. The problem, according to GoPeak’s case study, was not ignorance but capacity. The internal effort could not acquire enough worthwhile links without stealing time from the rest of marketing. Outsourcing changed the constraint. GoPeak says the ensuing campaign produced 728 links over 24 months, while organic traffic grew 35 percent and roughly 20,000 additional visitors reached the targeted pages.

That detail is more revealing than the percentage. The client did not change its mind about whether links matter; it changed its mind about where the work belonged. GoPeak functions as an external distribution desk. The company does not merely hand over a list of domains. It takes responsibility for the repetitive labor between target-page selection and a published, indexed mention.

“Their user-friendly tracking system lets us easily follow all the work and see the results in real time.”Anna Zubkova, Sender outreach lead, in a GoPeak testimonial

The agency’s process makes an invisible service visible. Clients get a live tracking sheet and monthly reports. They can inspect the host, target URL, anchor, and metrics. That spreadsheet may be GoPeak’s most important product feature. Link building has an obvious principal-agent problem: the buyer pays now, the ranking may move later, and dozens of other factors change in between. A row-by-row record cannot prove causation, but it can prove that the agreed work happened.

01MapAudit the backlink profile, competitors, keywords, target pages, and anchor distribution.
02VetReject link farms, private blog networks, irrelevant domains, and sites without credible traffic.

A thousand tiny votes, and no confetti

GoPeak’s most useful case studies are long enough to be slightly boring. It says MyHours accumulated 1,110 backlinks over 36 months and grew organic traffic 160 percent. Sender received 914 links over the same reported duration and grew traffic 117 percent. Archie, a coworking-software company, is the shorter case: 178 links over 10 months, with reported traffic growth of 125 percent. These are company-reported, Ahrefs-informed figures, not controlled experiments. Product changes, new content, technical work, brand demand, and search updates all move the same charts.

The method evolved along the way. Rather than push every link toward a homepage or a sales page, GoPeak also promotes useful educational articles, then strengthens the internal links that lead from those articles to conversion pages. For MyHours, the agency says it pursued topics around remote productivity and time tracking while placing the product beside competitors in comparisons and listicles. This is the part readers can copy without hiring anyone: earn attention for the page that deserves it, then build an intelligible path to the page that makes money.

A second copyable lesson is anchor restraint. Exact-match keywords can look engineered when repeated. GoPeak mixes branded names, topical phrases, and contextual wording across a campaign. A third is competitor proximity. If a credible article already names the category leaders, an omitted challenger has a specific and defensible pitch: the comparison is incomplete. The work is still tedious. The logic is not mysterious.

The price of an editor’s yes

GoPeak’s public pricing makes the economics unusually legible. A five-link pilot costs $990, with no upfront payment and payment due after the buyer approves the live placements. Quarterly prepaid plans list 10 monthly link insertions for $1,900, 20 for $3,400, and 30 for $4,800. The unit cost falls from $190 to $160 as volume rises. Guest posts start at $300 apiece; the article is included. Individual insertions are advertised from roughly $250 depending on the publication.

The model is a retainer disguised as a production line: strategy, research, outreach, writing, negotiation, and monitoring bundled into a per-placement number. This puts GoPeak between a freelancer and a broad SEO consultancy. Its specialists do less than a full marketing department, but more than a link marketplace. The promise is not merely inventory. It is relevance, a human audience, and a placement that belongs inside the article rather than in a footer, sidebar, or recycled network.

The necessary patience

This model is poorly matched to a weak product, thin content, or a team demanding instant revenue attribution. It also loses its logic when the host pages are irrelevant or unread. GoPeak says placements can go live in one to three weeks; its persuasive outcomes, however, are measured over many months.

Now the reader may be a machine

The old link builder wanted Google to treat a citation as a vote. The new pitch adds another audience: answer engines. GoPeak now sells brand mentions in “best tools” lists, comparison pages, reviews, and industry features. These pages are useful because a buyer may read them, because they can rank, and because an AI system may draw upon them when asked what product to choose. The agency’s language has shifted from “link” to “mention,” but its underlying bet is unchanged. Reputation lives elsewhere.

That is also what distinguishes GoPeak from automation-heavy competitors. The company says it uses manual outreach and excludes private blog networks, link farms, and sites built from mass AI content. Whether every placement lives up to that standard must be judged one URL at a time - which is why the pilot and tracker matter. Its case is strongest when a client already has something worth citing, knows which page matters, and can wait for authority to accumulate. It is weakest when links are expected to rescue an undifferentiated offer.

GoPeak is a young company selling an old exchange. One person has earned an audience; another asks to borrow a little of its trust. Search algorithms and AI interfaces keep changing the accounting, but not the transaction. Somewhere, an editor still has to believe the sentence is better with your name in it.
