Pelago is a virtual clinic for substance use management, delivering physician-led, evidence-based care for tobacco, alcohol, opioid and other substance use. Founded in 2017 as Quit Genius by three Imperial College London physicians, the company combines cognitive behavioral therapy, medication-assisted treatment and at-home monitoring tools into a program sold to employers, health plans and pharmacy benefit managers. Pelago says it has supported more than 750,000 members and validates its approach with 13 peer-reviewed studies.
Bloom Care
Bloom Care is a Brazilian femtech building the country's largest virtual clinic for women's and family health. Founded in 2017 by three women, its app pairs members with gynecologists, obstetricians, pediatricians, psychologists and nutritionists for continuous, evidence-based care across the full life journey - from menstrual health and fertility through pregnancy, postpartum, parenting and menopause. Sold mostly through employers and health plans on a B2B2C model, Bloom counts partners like Sanofi, SulAmérica, Natura and Nestlé, and was named to CB Insights' Digital Health 150.
Midi Health
Midi Health is a national virtual care clinic built specifically for women in perimenopause, menopause, and the long midlife stretch that mainstream medicine has historically ignored. Founded by Joanna Strober after her own frustrating search for symptom relief, Midi pairs clinicians trained in menopause medicine with an insurance-covered telehealth platform that treats hot flashes, sleep problems, weight changes, mood swings, and long-term hormone health. Now valued above $1 billion after a $100M Series D in February 2026, Midi serves more than 230,000 patients across all 50 states.
Othman Laraki
Othman Laraki is the co-founder and CEO of Color Health, a company he has steered from affordable genetic testing to pandemic-scale COVID infrastructure to a $4.6B-valued virtual cancer clinic serving over 7 million Americans. A Moroccan-born Stanford and MIT alumnus who learned to code by typing programs from magazines in Casablanca, he built Twitter's first revenue products as VP of Product before pivoting to healthcare. Today he sits on the American Cancer Society board as its only non-clinician, partners with Google and OpenAI to deploy AI in oncology, and angel invests in companies like Pinterest, Slack, and Instacart.
