David Wells is the CEO of Ondo Perps, the equity-perpetuals trading arm of Ondo Finance, where he leads the push to bring leveraged trading of U.S. stocks, ETFs, and commodities onchain with tokenized shares usable as collateral. He founded and ran Enclave Markets, the first Fully Encrypted Exchange, incubated within Ava Labs, after earlier roles at Two Sigma and Paxos. A Harvard Business School graduate and long-time markets operator, Wells has spent his career building institutional-grade trading infrastructure and arguing that crypto markets still hold real inefficiencies for those who can build fair, private, and efficient venues.
Andres Carranza is the co-founder and CEO of Luzid, a San Francisco startup building David, an agentic AI copilot that orchestrates SAP and Salesforce implementations. A Stanford dropout and former AI researcher, he interned at NASA, Harvard, MIT and was the youngest quantitative trader in Two Sigma's history before leaving school to build a company that aims to turn months-long enterprise software rollouts into something closer to a software update.
Dhaivat Pandya is the founder and CEO of Verse Medical, a New York healthtech company building software to modernize the $50B-plus world of in-home medical supplies, an industry still run largely on fax machines. A Harvard computer science and statistics graduate and a longtime open-source builder and technical writer, he came up through quantitative research at Two Sigma and Kensho and core engineering at Apollo GraphQL before starting the company in 2018 through Y Combinator's Summer 2018 batch. Verse Medical pivoted from an earlier consumer venture (JetLenses) into a software-driven medical supplier and has grown to roughly 160-200 employees, backed by investors including Y Combinator, Abstract Ventures, Josh Buckley, and Paul Graham.
Matthew Wang is the founder and CEO of OpenGradient, a New York company building a decentralized compute layer for verifiable and confidential AI. A former Two Sigma research engineer who cut his teeth on equity-options market-making infrastructure, he left quant finance in 2024 to chase a simpler question: can you prove that the AI answering you is the AI you think it is? OpenGradient runs models on-chain with cryptographic proofs and hardware enclaves, and has raised $9.5M led by a16z crypto, with backing from Coinbase Ventures, SV Angel, and angels including Balaji Srinivasan, Illia Polosukhin, and Sandeep Nailwal.
Scott Clark is the Co-founder and CEO of Distributional, an enterprise AI testing platform that helps companies identify behavioral drift and unknown failures in AI systems. A triple-degree graduate of Oregon State University with a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Cornell, he co-founded and sold SigOpt (a Bayesian optimization platform backed by Y Combinator and a16z) to Intel in 2020, then led 200 engineers as VP & GM of AI/HPC Supercomputing at Intel before founding Distributional in September 2023. The company raised $30M in under a year, including a $19M Series A led by Two Sigma Ventures in October 2024.
