After more than two decades telling one city's story, Destination Toronto's chief marketing officer is preparing for a world in which travellers ask machines where to go - while insisting that curiosity, community and human judgment still lead the way.
The nonprofit does not own a hotel, stage a festival or fly a plane. Its job is harder to see: make thousands of independent Toronto experiences feel like one trip worth taking - then prove the attention became visits, meetings and local spending.
