Serge Messerlian
Serge Messerlian is the Chairman and CEO of Creyon Bio, a San Diego biotech using AI to design oligonucleotide medicines. A life-science operator with more than 25 years across oncology, hematology, immunology and rare disease, he has led Teon Therapeutics as CEO, run Janssen Oncology as President at Johnson & Johnson, and held senior roles at Actelion, Baxalta and Baxter International. He joined Creyon first as an investor and board member through DCVC Bio, then stepped in as Executive Chairman and Acting CEO in fall 2024 and took the full CEO title in April 2025 as the company prepares to enter the clinic in 2026.
James O'Mara
James (Jim) O'Mara is the President and CEO of Neurogastrx, a Woburn, Massachusetts specialty pharmaceutical company developing oral therapies for gastrointestinal disorders. A pharmacist by training with decades in biotech, he was one of the original members of the LINZESS team at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, where he rose to Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and drove licensing deals across the U.S., Europe, Japan and China. At Neurogastrx he raised a $60 million Series B and is steering the company's lead candidate, NG101, through clinical studies aimed at the nausea and vomiting that lead many patients to abandon GLP-1 weight-loss and diabetes medicines.
Noel Greenberger
Noel Greenberger is the CEO of Nob Hill Therapeutics, an Albuquerque-based respiratory company building DryNeb, a dry powder nebulizer that pushes high therapeutic doses deep into the lungs regardless of a patient's breathing capacity. A Wharton MBA and Northwestern-trained industrial engineer, he spent years commercializing respiratory medicines at Sandoz, ran commercial strategy at Vertice Pharma, and consulted at McKinsey and ZS Associates before taking the helm of Nob Hill in 2022. Under his watch the company won a $1.73M HHS Phase II grant and closed a $3M Series A in 2024.
Chad Collins
Chad Collins is the co-founder, chairman and CEO of Corganics, a Dallas-based clinical cannabinoid company that sells pharmaceutical-grade, broad-spectrum CBD exclusively through healthcare professionals. A 20-year veteran of biopharma, payor systems and medical devices - including stints as a VP at Galderma and CEO of Boston Select Asset Group - he co-founded Corganics in January 2020 with Reggie Gatewood to drag CBD out of what he calls the retail 'Wild West' and into the clinic. He is also the author of 'Run to the Fire,' the true story of his father, a doubly amputated Vietnam veteran, with a foreword by NFL Hall of Famer Roger Staubach.
Heidi Gillmore
Heidi Gillmore is a commercial leadership executive at TerSera Therapeutics, the Deerfield, Illinois specialty pharmaceutical company she helped build from its 2016 inception. Across roles spanning marketing, strategy, business development and running TerSera's US oncology business, she has helped turn a portfolio of 'one-and-only' therapeutics, including the prostate and breast cancer drug Zoladex, into a durable commercial enterprise. A University of Northern Iowa graduate with a University of Chicago credential, she sits on the board of the Illinois Biotechnology Innovation Organization and has spent her career taking specialty and orphan medicines from acquisition to market.
