Craig Davis
Craig Davis is the President and CEO of NovaScan, a Chicago-based clinical-stage oncology company building a low-cost, point-of-care platform that uses bioimpedance and machine learning to detect and stratify cancer in real time. A medtech executive and investor with more than two decades of experience, he has raised over $20 million for NovaScan, secured a CPRIT grant, and helped steer clinical trials in skin, lung, breast, GI and pancreatic cancers. Earlier in his career he helped shape companies including New Aera (acquired by Inogen), Merge Healthcare (IPO; later acquired by IBM), and OrthoScan, and was a partner at healthcare investment bank Healthios.
Mitch Lee
Mitch Lee is the co-founder and CEO of Arc, the Los Angeles marine-technology company trying to make everything that floats electric. A Bay Area kid raised on the California Delta, he trained as a mechanical engineer at Northwestern, analyzed Apache helicopter rotor blades at Boeing, then spent years in software - founding Penny, which was acquired by Credit Karma - before reuniting with his old Boeing and Northwestern classmate Ryan Cook, a former SpaceX lead engineer, to build electric boats in 2021. Arc has raised more than $150 million, ships its Arc Sport wake boat and Arc Coast center console from a 150,000-square-foot LA factory, and in 2026 pushed into commercial and defense propulsion with a $50M Series C and a $160M tugboat contract for the Port of Los Angeles.
Matthew Wang
Matthew Wang is the founder and CEO of OpenGradient, a New York company building a decentralized compute layer for verifiable and confidential AI. A former Two Sigma research engineer who cut his teeth on equity-options market-making infrastructure, he left quant finance in 2024 to chase a simpler question: can you prove that the AI answering you is the AI you think it is? OpenGradient runs models on-chain with cryptographic proofs and hardware enclaves, and has raised $9.5M led by a16z crypto, with backing from Coinbase Ventures, SV Angel, and angels including Balaji Srinivasan, Illia Polosukhin, and Sandeep Nailwal.
